Does anybody have any stories (either positive or negative) that they would like to share about the NPGMusicClub?

C'mon! That place is a Consumer's Report article waiting to be written!

Or any criticism of the site? How would you improve it?

Personally, I have had no major problems with the site, other than the fact that my skin turns an odd shade of ornage when I am exposed to the main page for too long.

I would improve it by taking off that dopey music.

And by removing the shopping section. Mousepads and coffee mugs?? What do they think we are a bunch of losers who sit in front of our computer screens all day?!

...Oh. Wait a minute. Scratch that last comment.

One time when I found out I wasn't on the VIP list for an aftershow (even though I was a member), they got me in with less than 24 hours notice. They were very quick to exchange several e-mails and make it work.

Also, anytime I make an order, I receive it within two weeks, no problem.

On the bad side of things, I'm still waiting for my copy of Crystal Ball. Seriously. But I figure my credit card expired by the time they shipped it. And, they took off the final mp3s of last year way too fast. I missed downloading several of them.

I'd definitely work toward improving the site. It is pretty sad in comparison to most artists' sites. Love4OneAnother could've used many improvements also, but at least it was much more interesting than NPGMusicClub. It'd be nice if they'd ask us what should be on the site, and then start delegating some of the construction out to serious fans. The site actually has very little to say about Prince -- and it's his official site?

well, this is the latest communication i've had with that group of scam artists...for all their talk about wanting more people to join the club (as in the e-mail the members got waaay back in august announcing the ONA live set sans any meaningful info as to WHEN it would come out or even if it would be inculded in the membership), you would think that they would at least at this point be able to tell us if this fraeking thing is included in our membership!!! i mean, i didn't EXPECT them to give me a reasonable answer but i thought i'd give it a shot anyway...

It must be incredibly tiresome to the person at NPGMC that has to read these e-mails. And frustrating because they don't seem to know much yet are bombarded with questions they have no answers for.
