Last song offered for download???

Hello,

Does anyone know what the last song offered on the old NPGMC site was? I remember one being offered just before the site closed. I never had a chance to download it before the site went down. I could be wrong, but it seems to me it wasn't available for long...

I don't think there was one toward the end. The last one I recall was SST and Brand New Orleans. I know he had put up the track "feel good, feel better" or whatever it was called asking for member input just weeks before the lights went out, but it was never available for download. Is that what you are thinkign of?

Looking at my downloads and the file dates, I agree -- SST and Brand New Orleans were the last new tracks available for purchase.

ckyllander, if you didn't get those, you're in luck -- they're one of the few tracks released through the club also available on iTunes:

Thanks everyone! I think it was the one where he asked for feedback, but I just thought it was a download. I really appreciate how nice everyone in this forum is, especially since it's not always the case in forums. Have a great day!

?

Not the case -- Guitar wasn't offered until this month, and only on 3121.com. It was never offered through npgmusicclub.com

Not saying you are wrong, but what was that song then? There was a song (could have sworn it was Guitar) that Prince suposedly wanted feedback on. Again, I realy thought it was Guitar, so please someone let us know what song it was.

If you'll read above, you'll see txladykat's previous comment that pointed out the song Prince offered a snippet of for feedback: "Feel Good, Feel Better." It was accompanied by photos of Prince in the studio. It was not a download available for purchase -- it was an online snippet that you could listen to for free.

If you'll visit 3121.com, you'll see that "Guitar" is there, for sale, as we speak. $1.99 for an mp3 file.

yep. better than guitar IMO. Still had the raw feel to it also, which I think helped.
