wow. and i have several files from the club that i have PURCHASED, and have been unable to play due to some kind of error that they STILL have not been able to figure out. guess they wont be trying to help me from here on out.

guess im SOL. thank god i have a lot of freinds in the prince community.

hopefefully the club will come back more user freindly.

my guess is the new site will open to the announcement of the 3121 tour.....open with a bang!!

so in the meantime, they can iron out the details and not hear whining and complaining constantly over there (and i was one who kept asking about a tour .....thats my guess anyways, but we'll see

Not sure if we can still get a "member" discount but it seems to have everything we had access to before last night's shut down.

Without naming names....a good friend of mine talked to someone on the very inside of the website a couple of months back and he was told that while there were plenty of members they were having a real hard time turning them into "customers". Apparantly the club was bleeding money. I had a feeling something like this would happen although it wasn't even hinted at to my friend.

Prince is sitting on mountains of material that he could be releasing through the club.

He could be selling DVD compilations of all his videos, including the old obscure ones, complete concerts from the 80's to present, those things would sell big time.

Make his entire catalog of albums available online for sale, even the ones that have gone out of print, and throw in a few rare extras so people buy it from his site and not itunes or some place like that.
