Yesterday I sent this message to the music club:

"I'm curious when the next music club CD will go out and what it will be. Will it be Xenophobia? Or will it be one of the other CDs mentioned, like Madrid 2 Chicago?

Thanks for your help. Take care."


This is their response:

"We do not have a title yet 4 the next CD but we hope 2 have all the info by the end of the summer.

How long should we wait 4 the next cd???
I can NOT stand it any more!
I just want 2 know what it will b and when it comes out!!!

Once again let me translate this NPG jargon into straight English: "Well paying member or the NPGMC, Prince really hasn`t decided to do anything just yet. He is too busy with his head stuck way up Larry Grahams ass. Still whenever he gets 15 minutes to throw together 5 or 6 really subpar songs together we will let you know. We hope that you enjoyed the 'ONA CD'. It was Prince`s attempt at riding Alicia Keys jock and he did the tracks in record time. But never fear because if he doesn`t get us the material buy Dec-31-02 our back up plan is to send each and every menber of the NPGMC 3 BLANK CD`s to listen too. That way we will have "full-filled" our legal agreement with you. Stupid little fam we never said that there would be music on all 4 CD`s now did we; we just promised to send you 4 CD`s this year. Anywho you just let us worry about the CD`s and you worry about sending us more of your hard earned money."

The membership started feb 2002, so they do have over 6 months to complete the 4 cds.
That said, i worry about the pace at which they're going: it would be smart to add two cd's in one mailing than waiting another 3-4 months to send another. I see a problem brewing if they don't.

That's really kinda fucked up.

Are things really that screwy at NPGMC that no one can say what the next cd will be? That answer makes it look like they know nothing at all. "All the info by the end of the summer" not a cd by the end of the summer just the info. No wonder they don't give out little morsels of info - they don't know info.
And I was counting on Xenophobia in August.

The advert for ONA said "3 other prince CDs in 2002" though. So they must all be sent out by the end of December...
