wake me when there's a new prince record. i'll be perfectly honest, though, i've kinda lost half the interest in ol' p lately. after looking at this thread title on the home page, i realized its been ages since i played a prince record. he pops up on the shuffle on my ipod but that's about it. i'm kinda bored with the old stuff and less than excited about the rest. what's wrong with me? am i losing my love for prince's work? have i just crossed into a different phase? or do i just need a shot of something new and hot to rekindle my love for the little guy? its wierd, i have this sort of nostalgic appreciation for his work but lately that's as far as its gone. | |

I'm in the same boat. It's not that I quit liking his work -I still play a bit of Prince from time to time. I'm just not that interested lately. My musical taste is pretty varied -and God forbid -I've been listening to the other calls lately.
