(Please?) 3121: not sure exactly what this is all about, seems to loosely refer to his L.A. home and the parties/jam sessions there, and appears to be something that will make more sense later (we hope), like whenever his next project comes out... New product: He premiered a new song ("Satisfied) Saturday night at the NAACP show. You can buy and download that song now at NPGMC. Kinda makes me think a new album might happen this year, but no announcement yet of that or any other release... Touring: No announcements yet, lots of rumors. I think there's a good chance of him touring outside of North America this year, but that's just my educated guess. (Just as important, no announcement of a Celebration or similar event.) don't get me wrong, I love P, but i could do without all the look what u missed party reports that's just my opinion i enjoyed them at first, but now they are just a fest full of and then this happened and then the look on his face was this, and i nearly fainted when... it just gets repetitive. i dont mean to rain on anyone else's parade no pun intended, i'm just stating my opinion | |

I am so saddened by the resurrection of Vanessa Bartholomew. It was schmarmy on the  cd and it is schmarmy now.
I hate having to read throught the shit to see what was played. And I think what is the ABSOLUTE worse is that it's coming from Prince's camp. "I'm going to invent someone to tell people how fabulous I am." Is that really Prince's intention? I don't think it is. I think he is trying to make a spin or almost a parody of how the media portrays him, but FOR ME, it has never come off right. I'm firmly planted in denial | |

All i know is that the NAACP performance was fucking brilliant and the man only seems to get more and more versatile after 28, 29 whatever years of playin amazing musica.
I'm really looking forward to 3121 cuz you know it'll be another test of our funky degrees. Can we hang or do we hang? If our future offspring don't see this man as a modern day Mozart, our musical Shakespeare...they will be sadly missing out. But while we have today, I am going to enjoy every note of his blistering funk, ass whippin rocknroll, and sweeeet soul. mmmmm. I want one of them M&M's.
