How did you manage that! Do I need to find a file or something?

I thought that 'San Jose Jam' was a new song when I first read this post. Some one said it reminded them of DMSR. That's because it is DMSR, just an extended Jam in San Jose. I get it now, I'm slow disbelief

Yup. And I would like to know how these direct links are discovered in the first place? Is it from looking at the internet address of the files in Temp Internet Files?

am i the only person who considers downloaded tracks to be "thumbnails" of recorded music, as opposed to hearing music on CD, vinyl, performed live, etc.?

hearing "united states of division" on the cinnamon girl single today was like hearing a new song altogether, after listening to the NPGMC download so many times.

No, you're not the only one. Nothing beats the feel of it actually being in quality condition (greater than 80kbs) and on a pressed CD. I just checked my mailbox and saw my Cinnamon Girl CD was in there. After listening to just the beginning to USOD, I've got to say, it does feel like I haven't heard it before. nod

Actually, I don't remember an official announcement either, but it was mentioned here on the org. As soon as I saw it, I grabbed it. It's worth it, dawg. fro

i put a notice about the NPGMC sale of the single on the front page of the org last week or the week before or whenever the heck they started the offer - i don't think a lot of folks saw it, cuz it was hidden in a bunch of items about the CG video and i think it just kinda blended in with the deluge of "airport bomber" stories. what can ya do. shrug

OK MY LUVLIES!

I took the time to write down the lyrics to this muva!

My ears are wack, so I've had to write phonetic in some cases, but screw it...here ya go:

Glass Cutter (Demo) - Prince
Yeah

AH Ah

ooh

This is the story about a one and only muva
There never was before and there never be another
Hair come (? confuse) on a scooter so fine you wanna shoot her
Dressed like butter, holdin' a coupl'a glass cutter

glass cutter
oh yeah

This is the jam about a proper fantasy
Every man know this is how it sposed to be
So sharp now a bruva's heart flutter flutter omfg
Dress holdin onto a coupl'a glass cutter headbang

Mmm
Glass cutter
aw aw

TITS (? omfg bout as hard as arabian math
Water drops jumpin when ya takin a bath
The towel unravels and it looks like gravel
All a bruva can do is just laugh

uh

But under his breath he gon mutter,
But under his breath he gon mutter,
But under his breath he gon mutter,
Baby gotta coupl'a glass cutter

(lots of clapping)

This about a muva got a bruva sprung
I looked up the word heaven, saw a picture of her tongue
If she was a song she'd be sung
Instead of ryming Id be a singer so I could brunga parmigian, chedder, cheese nuts
Please You better believe she get's what she wants, cause I wants just what she got
I'm a new car, she's a lot, a whole lotta woman

(more clappin)

(crazy OTT jiztastic guitar soloing drool)

Girl gotta case'a too fine

She gotta bed
An' thats good
I'm gonna tell it to her face, because another bruva would
I don't wanna make her heart beat go flutter

(MORE GUITAR JIZ!! drool)

coupl'a glass cutter, coupl'a glass cutter, coupl'a glass cutter

[really quiet] her ass go fine (?) ...glass cutter you make my heart go flutter, glas cutter

JUK-A-CHICK-A-UH-AH-Bmph-JUK-A-CHICK-A-AH-UH-BMPH-KIH-UH-AH-AH-BMPHH-UH-AH-OOH-uuuuuh---uurrrghhh!-uuuhhh-uuh-uuuuuh (OOH MISSES! omfg)

biggrin
