NPGMC for Mac Help! How do I get music from npgmc onto my Mac. I can listening to streamed music but not save it to my hard drive eventhough I've paid, got my license, downloaded Windows media Player, etc.
Any tips from fellow Mac users? Let the rain come down

Listen to yamomma...if you're running OS X, and you've purchased music from the club, the only way to burn the audio files to a CD or get them into iTunes is Audio Hijack. The trial version should do the trick -- or you can purchase the full version for something like $15. WELL WORTH IT. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. Moderator | I'm probably going to have to purchase the thing.
I noticed the trial records a hiss after 10 minutes (purposely) So I couldn't record some of those extended jams. I think there are only two of them though. Then again I guess I could record two sections and splice them together in another program. All Rights Reserved. |

It's good for 10 minutes of recording, and it adds noise after 10 minutes. Splicing components of recordings wouldn't be hard with software like Sound Studio Pro (if you have it). But, the full version of Audio Hijack is reasonably priced for as useful as the software is. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. Moderator | Question.
I work off of 3 different machines from as many locations throughout the week. Would I need to buy 3 seperate licenses? All Rights Reserved. |

I work off of 3 different machines from as many locations throughout the week. Would I need to buy 3 seperate licenses? Well, I downloaded Chocolate Invasion and Slaughterhouse on my Mac. I could play the songs fine but I couldn't burn them to cd 'cause Media Player for Mac won't let you do it. I had to just burn the tracks to a cd in non-playable format then take them to a PC. Once there, I had to connect to the site in order to play/burn the tracks. All I had to do was login (like when I bought them) and it transferred the license to that PC. You should be OK.

I think yamomma was asking about licenses for Audio Hijack, not for the music files. You can install Audio Hijack across three systems and run the software as you wish -- I too have a Mac at work and two at home. I suppose that if they were networked and you attempted to run the same licensed copy of Audio Hijack at the same time on more than one networked Mac, only one copy would run. But, if you're using the software separately at different times on different machines for personal use, you don't need multiple licenses. The software is basically freeware as it is, so I'm sure they'd be thrilled as long as you paid for it once. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife.
