What is the point of the club,i was gunna join but if all u get as the benefit is pre sales and front row seats,and song which the public can download 2,and ooooo a 2.22 dollar or whatever reduction if u 2 a member on the songs,big saving hey ! and albums that r crap or released already etc.i say bring back the old 100 dollar yearly membership where u get more,get more music on,bring us european tour,open the vault and funk us good !

If you want to see being screwed over you should look at some of the shit they pulled in the first 2 years...since then they've caught on and realised that,if they do sod all, they can't get the blame when things go wrong

i'll speak for myself by saying that i don't feel that NPGMC has "screwed" me in the least. results may vary, and there may be aspects of the site that don't agree with me (and vice versa), but i really can't say a foul word about anything i've gotten from the club this year.

the $25 that SSOOOO many like to cry about is the same $25 they would have had to pay ticket massa in BS fees for their tickets to the show. tickets which, by the way, would NOT have been the best in the house... unless they were EXTREMELY lucky...

i made my $25 back in spared ticketbastard fees just from the first pair of musicology tix i bought. multiply that by five, and you could say i more than recouped what i paid to be an NPGMC member.

I think NPGMC is becoming better value every day. I may have too much time on my hands because the other day I worked this out :

Assuming you have none of the material in the download store and were planning on buying all of it, you would save $22.50 in the difference between member/non member prices.

I have some of the stuff already (musicology, nps) but I do want to buy everything else at some point, although I'm in no particular hurry. So I'm going to wait until an announcement is made (if they make one) about a European tour, and then join to avail of presale tickets.
By that time there may even be more stuff available to buy that I don't have, which means that the membership will effectively cost me nothing (or at most a few $'s)

Some people may think they remember me saying some time in the past that I would never, ever join NPGMC. I feel I sohuld point out to these people that your mind is playing tricks on you and I never said that, honestly.

They don't need to go back to charging 100 bucks for an annual membership when they can simply take a handful of leftovers from npg retail, throw them together and charge 100 bucks for that instead.

I would like to see the downloads from the first year available again (ahdio?), I wasn't a member then and I feel that I have missed some good downloads. Living in Europe, I must say that I am not too satisfied with the NPGMC. I don't give a shit about the $25 that I've paid, but what I've gotten back for it just ain't so exciting, unfortunately!
The reason why I became a member was because I was so pissed about not being able to get into the Nighttown-aftershow in November 2002..... Since then, he hasn't been here anymore!

I appreciate NPGMC because it is a real Prince club.

The only thing i want is just a lil more..maybe one download a week...2 new songs a month...that would be nice.

The forum is cool in there so is the chat, but i feel afraid 2 speak my mind in there.
