My opnion:
A cathy song with sometimes rather childish lyrics ('everybody stop fighting, everybody make love'). But also rather brave in the present ultra conservative climate in the United States of Division.
Musically spoken-> well... I dunno. A bit old fashioned. Sounds of the past mingled with a nowaday spirit.
Maybe what's most important this time is the STATEMENT, so the message, and not the music.

Nice tune, there is much 'revolution' sounds on it, and some '70 'peace and love' songs.
Good instrumental ending, good metamorphosis of the song after the first 3 minutes, non syncro chorus... a creative tune.

I would like to add that I dig the arrangement of the lead-line that is reminiscent of those on the Jackson 5 LP “Maybe Tomorrow”. I think the song was “I Will Find a Way”. Jus’ more of them ol’ school joints to keep the party movin’…

The drum line sounds VERY SIMILAR to Van Gogh - down to the bongos (whatever you call em) an all. It's only my 1st listen, but that same drum beat from Van Gogh may be there comletely with just a bunch of stuff over it.

different then the Musicology CD.....seems more like it was from "back then"
instead of now. But that's just my Opinion, I like it just the same.

I cant even find teh damn thing - It says Magnificent on 2 of the sliders and both are playing a smple of the same song...it also says "new track" about the concert video.....whats going on????

I had the same problem, couldn't see the track on Sunday. Monday morning it was there. I guess the only thing you can do is keep trying.

I like it a lot! It really has the late Revolution/ Sign of the times era vibe in it!

I don't think it sucks, but it's all over the place....it's very weird and put together without any great hooks or anything much to sink your teeth into. I like parts of it and other I feel don't quite work.

Purple, clear the cache on your browser. It is using the cached info for the web site. Go to Tools/Internet Options/Delete Files (check Delete all offline content) If that doesn't work, the DNS may have changed on the web site. Go to your command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns - this will get rid of the cache and look for new entries when you go to the website.

he's got some interesting things goin on in this song. i'd kinda like to hear him and the band just jamming to this on an extended version. pretty funky. the bridge was cool as well.

i downloaded it and listened to it on my computer a couple times...i like it, but i'm sure i would be listening to it even more if i didn't have to wrestle with the very user-NON-friendly windows media player in order to download the thing. i'll probably wind up burning just the one track, then uploading it to real player, where i can manipulate my files with much greater ease.

As far as the song goes, I think it's a good match as a b-side to Cinnamon Girl. It sounds a lot like Van Gough to me, with the loud, bangy drums. Overall a good message, too, and tough to argue with. Well worth 77 cents!

i was really pleasantly surprised. a lot better than i was expecting after reading the lyrics and thinking, "oh no" - not because of the sentiment, but the lyrics are really cheesy.

and i love the jingly chorus too.
