DISTORTION problem w/ burning wma files

my WMP burns the WMA files just fine.
but when i listen to the cd as it plays back, the song has a very annoying distortion sound like my speakers are popped or something.
& the original WMA is clean . . .
any advice????

Sort your stereo out!!!!

Seriously I have burnt and played on stereo and sounds great, I don't think there is a setting in WMP to adjust the volume, how does it play on your PC from the CD?

I've noticed that cds burned using Windows Media Player 9 lack bass.
Socks still got butt like a leather seat...

That is strange - I didnt think I had any probelms with mine until I double checked today - You are right, after burning themto cd my speakers make a crackling noise as if they are blown or soemthing. It does it on my home stereo,my car stereo, my pc drive...it does it with my 3 different burning software programs and it does it on a variety of types and qualities of cd...how weird

yeah it sucks.
i'm the kind of person that can't keep from hear it either.
is there any software for pc that can convert a DRM wrapped WMA to another file format (mp3, wav)?
i just want a clean copy of the song i payed for. i can't rock with it as it is.
