a reply to a suggestion i sent a suggestion to NPGMC about a possible solution to the scalping problem...i suggested maybe membership cards...
_____ just a suggestion...would there be a way that npgmc 2002 members could have 'passes' or membership cards of some sort? like the vip passes from the celebrations maybe? this would simplify the process of letting people into soundchecks and afterparties...it might even cut down on the amount of presale tickets purchased by scalpers...if members were asked to show a membership card when claiming tickets... it's just a thought..but it seems like a fairly simple solution to me.. peace, rio _____ ...this was their reply: _____ 'simple until someone starts scalping the membership cards, or bootlegging them. and u better believe they would. but thank u 4 the feedback.' _____ ...i just thought it was funny... u'r right it is "Funny" but we'Ll see how they go about this. 2 my understanding, the SCALPERS r buying the Tickets & then posting them @ another WebSite 4:

BUT some of the members here could be scalpers... and that is why they've joined in the first place. If a member buys tickets to every show and then resells them, that is a bundle of money, and far worth the price of membership...
