Damn the NC show was great

I went to the Knoxville show the night before, sat halfway up on the floor, and he cut it short, although he played "Joy in Repetition", TMBGITW(acoustic), and a vocal thing form "Miss You" by the Stones, just a cool road show. Great night with great friends.
Raleigh was crazy. The crowd was SO into it that Prince HAD to be in to it, and it really made for one of the better shows I've ever seen him do. For Purple Rain to KICK ASS, have Prince FEEL it while singing and playing it , you KNOW something was there smile
Same kinda set as in SC (I didn't go to that one) I think, although he played a GREAT version of "Telemarketers and fanatics"..His guitar playing just freaked me out. He was so into it last night.
Here's a sidelight. I was about...7 rows behind the drum kit. You could see everything, I don't care what anyone else said. The four ramps, the continual band "eye contact"...Prince was in our face all night. I just loved that stage setup.
Thank you so much to Gettoff, you are the man. ..made my night being able to meetup and meet new people. Makes it SO cool and communal. Russell, and everyone else, you guys make it so much more than a concert. Thanks again so much!
