Due 2 a larger internet outage on the east coast, we were not able 2 conduct the presales as planned. We sincerely apologize 4 the delay. Since we could not accommodate the presales 2day, we are going 2 move them 2 Sunday.

I haven't received that e-mail yet, but it's a hot topic right now at NPGMC chat. Rumor of 1 ticket per person limit is going around there now too.....

Still haven't gotten the email-such crap about an internet outtage...It sounds like they are trying to place the blame on the mysterious internet...It was their servers outtage...and once again they're starting presales 4 several large venues at the same damn time! Don't they ever learn?!! And now it's noon tomorrow...with the time difference where I'm at-that really sucks!! If I get up extra early 2morrow and tix sale out in 2 minutes-I'm going to be highly pissed off!!!

Clearly i am not the only one annoyed by this. not the only 1 who rescheduled their day so that i can be part of the presale.
what i don't understand is why do i have to log-on to THIS site to get information that should be on the npgmc site. that site is STILL telling me (2 HOURS later) that the sales will be available shortly.
should there not be some sort of waiting list for members to log onto and add their name to in case they are not available at 12 tomorrow and therefore lose out on a chance on getting premium seating.
i totally understand that there are, and can be, technical glitches, but surely SOMEBODY at the website/ticket dept. should be thinking of this sort of thing in all fairness.

Internet outage my ass..... typical of most Prince/NPG business ventures. Can't handle demand. Whoever decided to open up 4 presales within hours of each other should be shot

The member pre-sale site is back up... lists new times.....

Glad they posted early about this but Damn I wish I got them today. Well, at least the day is Free to Enjoy now... Peace..

Just got my tickets for Chicago...the site is back up. Go get'em while they are still there!!!!!

The server that runs NPGmusicclub.com is not the same used to handle the ticket purchases.

I did some checking and the ticket purchases are handled by advection.net, owned by a company called Auragan. This is the server that cannot handle traffic.

NPG should find another company to host the ticket sales!!!

I got on at 12:01 and had my confirmation from the NPG music club in my email box by 12:04!
I just wish I knew where my seats were going to be..... I hope they hand out the tickets in the order they are bought..
I did notice tho that later on you could not get any tickets... they said they had the computer problem.. BUT now they have tickets on line again...

It will be So awesome to see Prince again ..... and hey P fans in the Chicago land area.... Have you seen the neat comercial they have on about Prince tickets going on sale monday..? Its cool!

Now I'm confused. Is the Chicago show completely sold out, or is there another presale tomorrow at 5?

Please be advised this was not the music club server. This was the internet backbone that connects 2 lot more than us. They have reported their longest outage since 9/11 and it has nothing 2 do with us or r server traffic. Anyone who bought a ticket 4 LA yesterday can attest 2 the new servers per4mance. Eye just want 2 make it clear, this was NOT the npgmusicclub.com server.

Eye think members are reading this in4mation incorrectly. The second date (Monday) and time are when the presale ends. The start and stop times are given. So there is no additional sale on Monday. It concludes on Monday.

Thank you for rescheduling the pre-sale so we could get on with our Saturday afternoons! I am hopeful the servers will be ready to handle the traffic on Sunday!!

seems you really have to have patience and keep checking the npg website periodically...I thought tickets were gone for the chicago show, I happened to log in a few hours after I thought they were sold out and wala! There were tickets for sale, I bought 2 tickets, 75 a piece 3 hours after they went on sale. I received my confirmation e-mail - so I am good to go, woohoo....

Which NY date is this referring to? Im confused and contemplating whether to join NPGMC. Is the presale really beneficial after all?

Should I even bother joining now, 2 days before the presale?

Not that I suspect anyone will give me advice, since at 10 am on Saturday we'll all be at each other's throats.
