Is this tour selling out? With the announcement of several more concerts including Madison Sq Gdn in NYC (20,000 seater I believe) that demonstrates to me a high level of confidence on the part of both Prince and the promoters.
Does that mean the gigs are all selling out? I hope so though I am surprised our man still has Arena sized pulling power! Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

Well, I had way too much free time on my hands today, so I ran through the shows at Ticketmaster.com
The First L.A. date & Atlanta are sold out. There are a few shows on the verge of selling out, including the second L.A. show, and the Dallas show. Cleveland I would estimate at %75. The rest of the venues are probably between 40% to %70 sold, though there are a few below that. The plains states are moving fairly slowly (no major surprise), and two of the three Florida dates are selling quite well, maybe 75%, actually. There are a couple of dates where tickets can still be had on the floor...ouch. With the major east coast dates coming up, we can expect at least a few more sellouts, and the dates around NY, Phili etc. are spread out to allow for added nights if needed. Overall, a mixed verdict, but still pretty damn good for P, who has been off of the mass radar for so long.

Just wait 'til VH-1 shows Prince ripping it up at the Hall of Fame induction. The network will air the ceremony Sunday night March 21st, and repeat it 5 or 6 times over the course of a week. Then those remaining tickets will disappear.

Reno is sold out too. And the first vegas show was down to single tickets a few days ago.
(reno is on tickets.com, which is why you didn't see it) [This message was edited Tue Mar 16 19:32:15 2004 by alandail]
