JC Chasez album and style compared to Prince

http://www.usatoday.com/l...n-up_x.htm

Chasez channels Prince

Do I make you randy, baby?: JC Chasez takes his hints from Prince on his solo debut, Schizophrenic.
By Mary Ellen Matthews, Zomba

Pop/rock:
JC Chasez, Schizophrenic (**1/2 out of four) Just as Justin Timberlake was accused of aping Michael Jackson, fellow 'N Syncer Chasez will be tagged as a Prince wannabe for this more openly randy outing. Like Prince, Chasez addresses female sexuality with palpable affection, revealing little of the frustrated hostility or paranoia offered by too many of his peers. But while Chasez is a fluid, appealing singer, and is helped by a posse of co-writers and producers, his music shows less distinction. Despite their sinuous grooves, tracks such as Some Girls (Dance With Women) and Something Special lack the kind of freshness and ingenuity that, creatively speaking, separate the men from the boys. —Elysa Gardner

God what a piece of crap review, I think Miss Elysa just bought a Thesaurus. ANYCRAP....the album is pretty good, and let me tell you "Come to Me" is one of the HOTTEST songs I've heard in a looooong time.

I just bought his album and it's really good. I like the fact that it strays away from the normal formula of albums today. "Build My World" is now one of my favorite ballads. Great album. biggrin
SPREAD LOVE UNTIL THE SUN'S FINAL RISE--The Duality a.k.a. "WYNTER SKYE"
