Why is there no review of the 2nd Hawai show yet, after a quick look over the topics?
Was the show similar to the 1st one?
Was there an aftershow?

hi there, found this report on NPGMC 2day:

just got in from after party, and what a night, I didn't think he could equal Honolulu show, but he came very close to it, he seemed to enjoy himslef more inMaui. The fans in Maui were off the Hook, first the concert was outside under the stars, so the sound in the beginning didn't sound as good as HOnolulu, but then it got adjusted and boy was it booming, he oopened the show with

LENGTH OF SHOW, 2 HOURS 15 MINUTES,
EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL until he said he needed some dancers, and all at once about 100 to 150 girls rushed the stage and jumped on the stage from all directions, he got trapped n the middle, but he is a professional, so he acted like it was ok, and then they security made a path for hiim to go to the far end of the stage and sing. the women did not want to get off, and after that they kept rushing the stage trying to get on stage. One woman grabbed his hand, and almost pulled him off the stage, so he pulled her up on the stage. The people loved it, they were blown away, The Maui people seemed to ge ready for a good time.

The after Party was at a small club called Hapa's, when I got there at least 300 to 400 people were all standing waiting to get in, but the Npg music club came to the rescue, we were let in first, there was a 25 dollar cover charge, we paid nothing, so we were first at the stage, we had the best seats, it was great,

the npg showed up and got started around 12:30, they were jamning, showing off there individual skills when Prince arrived with Manuela, boy is she beautiful. he's a lucky man. he came on stage picked up his Harmon strat and the place went to another level, they just jamned, it was incrediable, Maui has a law that clubs must close at 2 am, and they played til 2 am. all the NPG had a great time, they all were smiling from ear to ear, and prince had a great time, he was wearing a black and brown japanese type shirt, black slacks and black slippers, he was relaxed and energetic, he even invited a local favorite, Willie K come on stage and play Prince's guitar, and willie played it like it was his. It was a great night.

I know i'm not gonna get any sleep tonight. but i am gonna try, but out of a scale of 1 to 10, i would rate the event a 10 plus 10. well I know that is unbelievable, but that is how I felt about the night.

I was surprised to see that the report posted by esben is the ONLY show report posted.

Even the "official" thread started by the Mods has ZERO replies.

They're in Maui peeps! Sun, surf, sand, papayas, mangos, and so much more for cryin out loud!
I'm sure the internet isn't a priority right now

Uh oh. Here we go talking about Prince's feet again!
My wife & I were at the foot (ha!) of the stage at the Honolulu after-show & on the way back home, my wife said "Prince's feet look weird". She said that his 2nd toe was practically resting on top of his big toe & that they looked unusual. I told her "you have no idea how much this topic comes up on the Org!".
Prince wearing those slippers is gonna fuel that fire again!

That review pretty much says it all. Prince was really feeding on the energy from the crowd and rocked the house.
He had a few guests on the side of the stage Chris Rock, Laurn Hill and Ziggy Marley. At the Aftershow they jammed quite a bit. Cant remember all the songs but I do they did most of the same as at the first show in Honolula. Willi K jammed and as esben said he played it like his own, using his mouth too,(the look on Princes face was priceless!)

I love how practically every review from the different places Prince performs/has performed always seems to include a reference to how Prince seems to "enjoy himself more" in that particular city vs. other cities, or how he 'clearly' loves ___ (fill in the blank) city more than other cities.

Prince fans are so competitive for P's love. It's like a bunch of little kids trying to prove to their siblings how Daddy loves them more than anybody else.

We know he likes Hawaii (as he does have a home there) + who wouldn't dig Hawaii!
