what was the official basement setlist???

I have seen one thread with a guess at the setlist but i can't find the other threads with the official setlist. Surely some dedicaterd fan who was there knows what the exact setlist was. I really would like to see other detailed reviews as well.

This is the best I can do ok:

Set 1 -- 35 mins

- Long funky intrumental jam which appears to be a largely improvised James Brown tune which I cannot identify.

- Intro Musicology/ Brickhouse/ Skintight.

- 7779311

- Purple Rain

Set 2 -- 55 mins

- Shake Everything You've got

- Instrumental jam featuring "We Want the Funk" and other old school funk jams.

- Pass the Peas

- No Diggity (Chance Howward singing)

- Ohh (RAD singing)

- Alphabet Street (featuring Larry)

FUCKING AWESOME!!! biggrin
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

thanks bkw...do you know who originally sang brickhouse, skintight, we want the funk and no diggity.
sorry i'm not familiar with them, except we want the funk ive heard before.
I'd love to know what that first james brown jam was. It was great.
Do you know anyone else who has done any reviews and setlists for this aftershow?
I wonder if anyone got any pics?

wasn't "No Diggity" by Dr Dre? and I heard someone say Wet Wet Wet did Brickhouse?(!!!) must be a cover but from whom I don;t know and wasn't it Ahmad that did "We Got The Funk"?
In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine. Someday I will touch it because it calls me. It says cross the line, cross the line. I know everything is not always what it seems, so I pinch myself daily just in case it's a dream

Maybe they did? I couldn't see them adding the funk to it though.

Thanx Brett. I love my Funk / Hip - Hop, and the funny thing is, all these old classics are now being sampled by mainstream Hip Hop artists, yet kids hearing it have no idea where it has come from. They really need to go back to move 4ward!

Take Care BKW
