The aftershow.

Yes eye had 2 dedicate 1 post on its own 2 this great moment.
As far as im concerned, this is what eye wanted more than anything on this tour, eye didnt care about the concerts or the soundchecks, this is what eye have been waiting 4 since eye 1st heard small club when eye was a teenager.
Every1 that eye saw who was at that show, was waiting 4 some1 2 wake them up!!! It was just incredible.
Im so sorry 4 Joshy, Ally85 and Dnaplaya who werent there, guys eye would have paid $200 dollars and lined up all day 4 this show.
Eye stood in the line with my bro, bro in law, my mate peter and Andrew who was busy writing the concert set list down. Incidently let me just mention as eye did 2 Andrew at that point that the song Life of the party is actually James Browns Hot Pants but with Prince changing the lyrics. Im a big JB fan as well and eye recognised this straight away. The music itself is all Hot Pants, but the lyrics r all Princes.
Anyway... we get in, there is my bro John, me with Derek right 2 my side, my friend Pete, Italian girls Lori and Rita, then my bro in law, all covering front row right of the stage. At this point eye was so nervous cause eye knew this was it 4 me.
Im not gonna comment on the show much except 2 say that it was just funky. The greatest part of my musical life was realised when Prince decided 2 play Purple Rain and play his solo right in front of me, OH MY GOD!!! Less than a metre away!! unbelievable. After he performed this sing eye couldnt take it any more and just broke down in tears, and im pretty sure u did as well Derek!!! it was just so much 2 take in. Eye think we all agreed at that time that it was the 1st time since 84 that Prince played Purple Rain at an aftershow so 2 be there was something very special 4 us. My friend Pete was the only 1 who touched him all night when every1 clapped and he stuck his hand out and Prince high fived him. Pete didnt wanna wash his hand 4 a week after that.!!
Another amazing moment was when Prince handed the tamborine he just played 2 my bro and then abit after my bro handed it 2 me which eye played 4 the rest of the show and have blisters on my hand 2 remind me of it. Here eye was playing a musical instrument with Prince and his funky band and when the call was said "on the 1", eye was there 2 stop my tamborine as well, just unbelievable. The good thing is no1 ever asked 4 it back so of course it is now sitting in my home.
As alot of u who were there that night it was just something simply amazing and im sure we will never 4get it.
But now we r just crying 4 more.
PRINCE PLEASE COME BACK SOON.(WE ALLREADY MISS U!!)

Im glad u got the xperience that u did, u looked pretty happy whenever i saw u on Friday night.

On Friday night, we were sitting in the same row (5), as was BKW, but then I was dragged up to row 3 which i didn't mind, I just didn't realise it was u until Joshy introduced us on the line at the Basement.

Great work! How cool was u're nephew up on stage, that was pretty cool.U and u're family all rock on!

I was sitting right in front of you for the first show's soundcheck...I heard you say "thanks for coming back" right in my ear

Anyway, wow, this review makes me sick, because I DIDN'T GET TO GO TO THE SECOND AFTERSHOW!

I was debating whether or not to turn up and just pay...now I really wish I did.

Oh well...let's hope he comes back soon, eh!
