It sounds like a new song. He played it in the HK aftershow too. To be honest I can't remember if it was a properly formed song or just a jam. He had the crowd chanting 'baby baby', which I've still got stuck in my head.
Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

Even if he did Head as an instrumental, I'm very surprised he goes back to a track with such a subject matter. But I like it smile
Actually how does the band play it now?

Well it lasted longer then 30 minutes...more like 40 or more, but I was 2 xcited 2 really notice time the right way wink Yes I'm overseas all the way in The Netherlands...long live modern technology!!! It was really a good way of getting up 4 me this morning, since we are 9 hours behind in time with Brisbane...unfortunately the batteries of his phone went dead 2wards the end...Oye como va was also played and at least 1 other song as well

"Ooh Baby Baby" original by Smokey Robinson, later a very big hit 4 Linda Ronstadt.

id he actually sing any of Billie Jean? How long did he play it for? What was he playing on it? Was it just the 1+1 drums and some bass or did the band play it? How did the crowd react? Did he say anything about MJ?

Thanks!

P did not sing any of it, he played his own keyboard with the whole NPG band playing while PaulBlack (a fam) sang and danced most of the song.

an

P did a little "hee hee" at the end but he spent most of the time cracking up then he said "There's never a dull moment in Australia" It was so fuckin funny, Paul just went for it and was doing kicks and spins, I think Prince was a little stunned

I think the long funk jam was Santana's Oye Como Va, and Jungle Strut. Exactly the same as on a previous dutch club gig. Can someone confirm???
