In Paris they were selling Meet & Greet last night at the merchandising stand for €100. I would guess it will be the same in London.

I never knew there was a meet & greet for £100?

They were selling signed albums for £100, but they were pre-signed. A friend bought one after the gig and they sold out, so we had to wait for the tour manager to take them (around 10 people bought them) back stage and get them signed by the band, no one was allowed in for the signing, people were asking and they were quite firm in telling them no, which was abit mean spirited IMO as we had waited 30 minutes and the crowds had left by then.

Yes, there definitely was - they were selling tickets at the merch store. Apparenly there were 30 places each night - there are some pics up on FB. I think Wendy and Lisa had to leave Wednesday's one early.

Ahhh, I had a quick look over at the merchandising stand on the way in and was not impressed, so I just ran in the theatre to get the best spot I could.

In fact, I thought the mechandising was pretty poor, when I saw the Revolution in NY in 2016 they had cool Purple T-shirts/shot glasses/Key Rings etc, but I never saw any of tha in Londont, but like I said, i ran straight in, so maybe they sold out by the time I got there after the gig!

Is it true there were only 30? I did it , I went to buy a tshirt and saw it and nearly wet myself. I didn't think twice about it.
For me , the experience of meeting the band was worth every penny and then some.
I stood for hours waiting to get records signed by the NPG a couple of times.

Btw, I'm not posting this to say , oh I got there and you didn't . I'm just saying , chances come and go and we're a long time dead. It was only luck that I saw it.

That's cool, glad you got to meet them, I met them in NY in 2016 when they played BB kings when they first went out playing (I flew from the UK for the week just for the gig, so I know about taking your chances and wasn't going to miss seeing them!). I met them out there when they were signing the Revolution Posters on the purple rain 'Flower' paper, they were allot cheaper than £100 in NY.

Did they have the Purple Revolution T-shirts then? I never saw them at the merchndising stand? as I said in a post earlier, there was allot more stuff like shot glasses/posters/T-SHirts/key rings etc in NY?

I also met Sheila E & Prince in London at Wembley Arena in 88, so I'm not complaining about my luck over the years smile
