I think this was one of the better concerts i've seen in the last couple of years.

Thank you The Revolution.

Update: we forgot the tickets on the fridge...

Luckily our neighbor has a key to feed our cat and an old digital camera (he's a luddite without smartphone), the barcode was enough to get in.

Great show, the band was as tight as they were 30+ years ago and the atmosphere was on the good side of emotional-party.

It was an enjoyable night. But it took abit of getting used too for the first ten mins or so.There was a hole and something missing. But it got better as the concert went on.Highlight was Sometimes it snows in April.

And she (Wendy), they (The recolution) changed the lyrics somehow...

It was soooooo good:

"...No one could cry the way HE cried..."
"...I know that he has found A LOT OF friendS..." (crowd cheered)
"Maybe he's found the answer to all the April snow
...I sure hope he did, he hated it so much..."
-
Very personal, very touching.
Thank U Wendy !
-
Oh and by the way, what a wonderful ghuitarist she (still) is !
Her instrumental intro to this song was breathtaking.
Is it something from W&L era ? or from some score they did ?
Anywone ?
Thank you.

I really didn't know what to expect, but they were fantastic at Sheperds Bush Empire on 13th Feb.

.

That extended intro and slight reworking of Sometimes It Snows In April was great... my friend asked me afterwards why the place fell so quiet, and why so many people were crying! I had to explain the significance of the song.

.

Personally I would have prefered just the original band members, although Stokely was great on tracks like Kiss... They balanced that well with some tracks performed themselves and others with him.
