Questlove's Concert series-should a fan go or ? Saw recently that various artists & groups along with a symphony orchestra will be touring the US this summer doing Prince's music, with the end of the tour being in K.C.in October. Have never even thought of going to a concert of someones music when they will not actually be on stage.
I was wanting to go ahead and maybe get tickets now for the tour end in Kansas City, but I have mixed feelings. Am trying to imagine if I will love it, hate it, be happier afterwards, or just plain sad. I am leaning towards ordering the tickets & going, just to see what it does to me. Your thoughts, fam? I'm definitely going! Especially since these kinds of shows don't often come to my neck of the woods in central Florida. Very excited about this approach to Prince's music. Prince's Friend
