We caught their show at the Hard Rock Cafe on Prince's birthday. These guys were OFF THE HOOK.

I am not sure of all their Prince connections but they definitely have them. Some or most of the band either worked, played or worked and played at Paisley Park. At any rate, they NAILED a 3 1/2 hour set (no breaks, none, not one!). It was almost completely Revolution material. The only NPG song I can recall was "Sexy MF".

Jellybean Johnson sat in for a few songs, blasting out the rhythm from one of the coolest Telecasters I've seen. It was the same color as the Hohner, but it was glittered. It was awesome. BTW, GSharp played a Hohner that was exactly like Prince's.

These guys are as good, IMHO, as anyone you're going to see when it comes to Prince.
