Thanks for the reports . Was on the fence about even paying attention to this, but the few clips I have seen have been really moving. Would I rather listen to Prince sing Sometimes It Snows in April? Of course, but here we are and I can't believe how much watching Wendy and Lisa do that song moved me. Sounds like a special three nights.

No he probably listened to Prince's hits off those albums but never listened to the actual albums.
For example, growing up, I had always heard Soft and Wet, Feel for You and Controversy. It wasn't till I was around maybe 10 or 12 years old when I heard Controversy in full. It happens.

Some corrections... The Time Outtake Love Sign (Morris Day) - I don't know his solo material. Thought it was a Time outtake originally.
Reunited Feline (Prince) - After hearing better quality audio than what I recorded, and also checking out a studio rehearsal of this, I'm 99% positive that it's Prince's studio version of Feline written for The Family. The drum beat threw me off as far as the timeline, because it's not the Linn sound at all. Maybe this was recorded later? Hot uptempo track from 88-89. Eric and Atlanta horn stabs, spare drum machine beat, funky bass slapping. It kind of reminded me of Your Love Is So Hard, but it sounded like it was recorded before that one. The verses were sung in his lower register, in sort of the same style as High Fashion. Good God, if the estate gets it together, we're going to have classic Prince material for the rest of our time on this planet. THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A SECOND! Rock This Mutha 13 (Paisley Park Mix)(Madhouse) - I can't believe this has been in my collection all this time and I'd never heard it before! Definitely '88 era, mostly instrumental, with Eric and Atlanta. There was a phrase that popped up throughout that included the words "Rock this mutha," and "Ain't no otha." Couldn't make out the whole phrase though. The tempo kind of reminded me of The Future, but way more funky. Possibly the funkiest thing I've heard from the Lovesexy band. Sister (Prince) - Acoustic demo! Absolutely loved it. Just Prince and an acoustic guitar. Girls And Boys (The Dynamics) - Definitely The Dynamics version as pointed out above.

My apologies if this has already been posted but can someone please tell me who is the guitarist that appeared with The Revolution? You can see him in the clip below around the 6:20 mark...
I've seen several video clips from The Revolution concerts that weekend and that does not appear to be Dez Dickerson as far as I can tell... Maybe I'm wrong. Can anyone identify who that guitarist is please? Thanks. [Edited 9/17/16 10:35am]

I slowed it down in slow motion and I'm not even sure who that is. It's not Dez because the facial features are not like is. I see BrownMark off to the side holding down the base but I don't know what Andre looks like without sunglasses if it's aint Andre then I'm not sure he is becasue he comes out just for that kneeling scene and then goes back behind the amplifier and off stage.

Wendy said his name but I forgot it. She also thanked him for, "Saving my ass." "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

I asked the question in the "Associated Artists" section and they answered it for me.
His name is John Wesley Payne. A quick google search pulls up lots of youtube videos. Very talented guy. Apparently they brought him in to help out The Revolution I guess. But yeah, it's definitely not Dez.
You can see John Wesley Payne more clearly in this video, standing next to Dez at the 1:20 mark: https://youtu.be/UNqUMiABvjE
Thanks to everyone who replied! [Edited 9/19/16 12:56pm] [Edited 9/19/16 12:56pm]
