Here is a nice news story aired this evening from local Twin Cities station KARE 11 with a preview of tonights concerts. It includes some interviews from out-of-towners.

Looks like it's the event poster, HitNRun phase two CD, and the Hawaii hat box (he's had bunches of those hat boxes for 10+ years, giving some away at the Park and also selling them for $25-50, so this seems like a good way to clear stock).

Best thing he has ever done. He started from his birth and took us through every album up until lovesexy amd sprinkles in new stuff. He did Baby, i wanna be your lover, dirty mind, do me baby, ur gonna see me, case of you, dorothy parker, something in the water, condition of the heart, beautidul ones, i love u but i somt trist u, anna stesia, the breakdown, free, rasberry beret and many more. He gave props to bowie. Props to lisa for writing rasberry beret. It was basicallly about his relatiomship with his father. Powerful. Perfext. Going in for the sexond show.

One of the coolest concerts I've ever seen. Felt very personal in a way that I was not expecting at all.

This is the kind of simple, sincere tribute that conveys much, much more than the few actual words spoken.

Wish I had been there tonight. Thanks to everybody who shares their experience here so those, like me, who couldn't go can 'be' there vicariously. It sounds like it (the first show anyway, so far) was a very special, amazing performance.

What do you mean "he started from his birth".

Did he tell you all he was singing when he came out the womb? lol Or he was walking around as a child singing?

And actually somebody that talented usually is singing as a child. I wonder is there any videos of him singing as a child?

Wonderful intimate review and love song list!! So delightfully and incredibly personal. So glad you could be there. I can't wait to hear about the second show when he's even relaxed, comfortable and receptive to do a new things and sharing more information. Still Smiling for each and everyone of you all who had the opportunity to be there✨💜✨

Show 2 was a mixture of songs, not linear as the first. He gave us Black Sweat, freeurself, how come you don't call me, the ladder, kiss, sometimes it snows and more. He has such an incredible unobstructed voice. He was playful Prince as usual

The first show he did like a chronology of his life and talked a lot about his relationship with his father. He played the Batman theme and went from there

The second show had similarities but some different songs too.

He seems to like the sing along alongs

The second show opened with Wow and then The Love We Make
He did Sometimes It Snows in both shows. Starfish and Coffee in both
He did Dear Mr Man in the second show

Just unwinding from the shows

For my first Paisley Park shows I got some amazing memories

Historic night to be a Prince fan. Both shows complimented each other and were equally as good. I have never felt more connected. I have never appreciated his musicianship more. I have never appreciated his voice more. The hihlights for me were Baby, Dirty Mind, Paisley Park, The Love We Make, The Ladder, Anna Stesia and many many many more. Incredible night.

Someone that worked there told me there was definitely a show on saturday. Not prince, but some group will be performing.

Tonites' show was too Beautiful for words. The massive crowd was spellbound. Prince hit notes so perfectly, and some new twists to old songs. It felt sureal as the filled room stood still in awe. I felt a couple of tears rolling down my face before I could catch them. It'll be a great tour if he takes this on the road. biggrin There's no limit to Princes' creativity. this was a whole NEW experience cool Just Lovely, Deep, Soul Sounds and music from a piano that sounded like an entire orchastra was backing him up. Very touching to see this unique show. Thank U so much Prince heart And also thanks to all the great Paisley staff! Without a doubt, Prince continues to bring us 'the Greatest Show on Earth.'
