Y hasn't anyone discussed 's new MEGA ticket system & how successful it turned out ?!
[Edited 1/17/16 20:59pm]
The confirmation email we received makes it clear the tickets were sold through an existing ticketing site called songkick. They just used the PPAD site as a sort of branding cover.
Either way it still worked. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |

The 2 lots really aren't that far apart, both within about 5 minutes of the Park. They could make a run to the other location if anyone's left on the shuttle after they drop at the 11pm lot.
This wouldn't be that hard to figure out and organize, we just have to hope they're planning on it.
That would make sense, but if we have to re-park then it shouldn't be a big deal.
Yes. If they could make writbands for both shows available in first lot and then just have a bus going back to that lot or two stops after second show it would help immensly and wouldn't be too hard to organize. |

I hope that works out for you folks going to 2 shows also, but I don't have much faith considering how these things are usually organized. Being that the email states that the willcall wrist-banding will happen AT the parking location, they'll need to ensure you don't have to go to the other lot to get checked in. Hopefully they can do a double wrist-band at the first lot before they move the 11pm list over to the second parking location. That's what would be smart. But I don't count on them to be smart about that kinda thing.
VIP will likely be allowed parking IN the Paisley lot, which would make it all easier for people going that route.
My problem is I have GA for the first show and VIP for the second. We're supposed to get another email regarding tickets and parking for VIP, so hopefully they will let VIP park in their lot and have tickets at the door. That way I can just change my wristband there after the first show. Who am I kidding? You know it won't be that easy. TRUE BLUE |

I agree that these would be great if arranged for piano! I'd also love to hear him do Thunder, Willing and Able, 3 Chains of Gold, Man o' War, and so many others....But I'm sure he'll just noodle.

I like the idea of advanced purchasing tickets for paisley park events but next time they should allow us to buy it as soon as it is announced... instead of doing a couple of weeks of hyping the event without further info. I do hope there will be more events in the future
Besides from that...according to HQ fb page:
Another photo posted by @Prince3EG this time with a closer look at the piano (it's actually a keyboard) for the upcoming shows at Paisley Park. It has handwritten lyrics on top from: 'Free', 'Starfish & Coffee', 'Sometimes it Snows in April', 'I Love U But I Don't Trust U Anymore' and 'How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore'.

i wonder if those mentioned are going to be part of the setlist and if there will be more Don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine..Purple music does the same 2 my brain

Woa Man Great minds think alike I have the same problem... I'm like you GA at 8pm and VIP at 11pm... I'm hoping worst case scenario we can park on side streets or at least not have to go back out to get a wristband... I guess let's wait and see what the email says 2morrow... |

I'm not worried about catching a bus back to the 8pm show parking lot. I'm sure one of the drivers won't mind driving a mile and a half to the other lot. I'm sure there are going to be a lot of us who are in this position. I just don't want to have to leave and come back. I guess we will find out tomorrow. TRUE BLUE |

That would be a major disappointment, with the exception of I Love U But I Don't Trust U Anymore. Why not try something new for the occasion? |

If the last show at Paisley Park in November, before the European tour was to start, is any indication of what Thursday will be like, then we should get entire songs and not noodling.

Hi everyone,
I am in the same boat as some - I will be in town and was prepared to camp out in the cold to get in but then was out of town over the weekend dealing with a sick relative and all tickets were sold before I even knew what was going on.
If anyone can help with either a GA or VIP ticket I am good for it - we can meet in person in Minneapolis.
You can send me an org note for any follow up...
Thanks very much in advance - any help is appreciated! |

Man, this is going to be an expensive (and exremely cold) mess. People are going to be freezing to death, shuttling, swapping wristbands, digging for credit cards and I.D., getting sent back out in the cold to be searched for recording devices, fighting over seats and all sorts of maddening stuff. I can smell it.
Good luck, Purple Army. I'd like to see a show like this but I'd prefer the guitar and a mic over the piano and same, similar to the Musicology set he did. |

Hello, we are flying in from Holland on Thursday afternoon and stay in downtown MPLS.
Can somebody advise me abt the best way to get at the pick-up place in Chanhassan for the 11pm show? Is there public transport or would a taxi be our best option?
Thanks! |

Taxi would be your best option. There is very limited bus service to the suburbs. TRUE BLUE |
