As far as hotels - there are some good ones in Bloomington around the Mall of America and the airport, etc and that is not too far to Chanhassen.

Normally they will announce it and you just show up and stand in line and hope you get in before capacity is reached. There hasn't been advanced ticket sales in the past few years. They don't have an issue with capacity normally, because they don't announce it in advance. With this much notice, surely they will do some kind of ticket sales.

This appearance is going to slay ALL per4mances from last year & beyond!

With this much advance notice the crowd will be big. I also think that because he is doing this on a Thursday, he is setting it up to also include Friday and maybe even Saturday. Yes, it will be cold and you will have to wait in line outside. Dress warm! They also have a coat check at the Park. If you are coming in from out of state you will be able to get in, but you will have to get out there early before the locals to guarantee that.

my biggest concerns are the weather and last minute cancellation.

Hopefully they either do 2 or 3-day event
