I have been going to Prince concerts since the Controversy Tour and I NEVER missed a show if I was in the same town as Prince. Tonight is a first - I am slipping I guess. I only heard he was in DC tonight and I cant get to either show.

Best show of my entire life. Cannot believe that happened. By some twist of fate I was able to go to both shows. The second show blew me away completely. Stevie Wonder!? Are you kidding me.
So many highlights. Prince hopped on the bass twice. Going over to the crowd and mouthing "Wow" while Stevie Wonder did his thing about summed it up. Incredible. [Edited 6/14/15 23:09pm] | |

I was at the 8pm show. I also went to the concert in Baltimore, and it was a lot of the same songs (Open with Let's Go Crazy, Take Me With U; When Doves Cry, Kiss; Purple Rain, Nothing Compares 2 U). He did do How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore, which was nice, and Pop Life. There was a "shake/U gotta shake something chant). Play That Funky Music White Boy (off the top of my head). Controversy--which was cool given the venue. Honestly, for me, the venue was so small that it was amazing. I have never seen him that close before, and while the music was awesome, I was more in awe of seeing him so close up!!~ [Edited 6/14/15 23:32pm]  [Edited 6/14/15 23:43pm] ~Karebear~

Show 1 was okay. Very similar setlist as the Baltimore show except he did pop life. Show 2 was one of the best shows that he has ever done. It was tight and Stevie Wonder put it over the top. I hope they filmes this one. Opened with Guitar, Plectrum, and did a bunch of other stuff. | |

No because unlike most touring acts, Prince changes his shows up from night to night to keep it fresh for the audience and problem himself. I've seen him multiple nights in a row and over 15 times and no two shows are the same. He'll do a core group of songs but then he'll do different arrangements, different order and will always throw in a bunch of extra songs outside of the core stuff. So it always feels fresh. | |
