Jezus. It's people like you that get a high thinking they are better than others. THIS is what you're pissed about? Kids see/hear much worse things on maintream T.V. "So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

"I dont know what Prince's definition of superstar artists is but there were none on that stage"-The show was promoted as having special guests, it did not mention "superstar artists". Special guests are performers outside of his band.
"Prince failed to even introduce the Brown & Grey family, he simpled walked them to the front of the stage in darkness and threw his hand up , he probably didnt know their names."-The fact that he invited the families of Michael Brown and Freddie Grey was a moving gesture alone.
Only cogent thing you wrote was the sexual innuedo of "The Question Of U/The One" but even that song was mild. The lyrics weren't explicit.
Your critiques are petty and you come across as naive. If you're that shook at a Prince concert, don't attend another show. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR

You must keep your daughter in a bubble 24/7- otherwise she has heard worse! My 3rd grader hears worse on the schoolbus! You're just looking for something to complain about. Are you salty because you were stuck in the $22 seats and didn't get moved to the front with the others? lol Everybody stop on the 1...GOOD GOD! Uhh!

The media and a lot of folks here are treating Prince as if he's the 'PRINCE OF PEACE'. News Flash: He is not going to 'heal the world' Prince worship self and wants everyone to follow also All my FAVORITE ARTIST have never kept wearing Tshirts of images of themselves. A free concert for the family would have been better with different Booths/venders supporting the community. Chaos and Disorder is the world wr live in Prince said they are praying and no one is listening ..is he saying God doesnt care? He's telling them 'YOU ' can fix problems... Yes you can Desiigner "Panda" LES TWINS x YAK FILMS | Laurent ft Skitzo & Boom Squad Inglewood (part 1)

The concert WAS free for the family. This had the benefit of raising a lot of money for the community in the process. Change it one more time..

Check yoself, son! Ding, ding, dong! shows that he wants to have his cake and eat it too. rants before the Peace Rally. the sexual explicit stuff a bit and make it more PG. On the other hands, as the other posters said: children have heard more at their age, than we had before we were 20. [Edited 5/11/15 11:39am] Stop the Prince Apologists ™

I listen to the concert and loved it! "U The One" inspired me too! Oh and the "Electric Man" almost made me walk back to Minneapolis were I just moved from and back to my home town Chicago but I decided to take a ice cold shower instead!!!!! That concert inspired me to write several "smokin songs" I've been up and haven't went to bed yet! Wipe out the negativity Prince was on point and jammed!!!!!

Jay Z could have paid for everyone then, but it was a big business deal, i'lll scratch your back if you scratch mine type of deal. I hope Jay Z is figuring a way to resuscitate Tidal.
On a side note,
I liike Jay z and beyonce, i like that they seem very down to earth when it comes to those who support their music careers. The picture shows that they are humble enough to take a photo with ordinary children. Desiigner "Panda" LES TWINS x YAK FILMS | Laurent ft Skitzo & Boom Squad Inglewood (part 1)

limoncello said: Bringing a kid to a Prince show then being horrified by the "sexually charged" content is like expressing shock and horror over snow in December in Minnesota. Yes, I know he's a pretend JW now but have you ever even listened to a Prince album? Lawd. The theme was rallying for peace, so some people were expecting music in that vein. In that spirit...it is odd to be singing "Hot Thing" at a concert for peace...

have you ever listened to Prince? How old is your daughter? I'm sure she has heard WAY more provaocative stuff on the radio or at a freinds house. You have every right to leave, but what whining...

Sometimes, even when one has the means to do something that doesn't mean that that'll necessarily be the smart thing to do. There are plenty of other social issues that are just as important as Baltimore, a city he probably doesn't have much direct connection to. Why would one spend a huge amount of money in just one place? Lets be reasonable. You give what you can at the levels appropriate for the circumstance. Getting local residents that do have the direct connection, to invest in their city is a lot smarter strategy IMO, for a number of reasons that I could go into if you're actually interested. I would have advised someone like Jay Z to do exactly the same as he did or something similar. It doesn't benefit him in the long term to have the public brand him more the benefactor than the businessman (trust me, as someone in the philanthropy industry, the last thing any people of wealth wants is yet MORE people asking upon every event for a handout), and it benefits the people of any local community more for them to make donations themselves (even if small and nominal) to the communities in which they live, because it increases their sense of ownership over what those NGO's do with their money. When Prince & Jay Z have moved on from Baltimore, it'll be those local residents who shelled out cash, who will keep those NGO's and the community at large accountable for whatever progress they'll make. Rallying people behind a cause is NOT any less valuable in terms of long term community effects than direct donation. The problem is that we've been desensitized to intangible benefits ("positive externalities" in economic terms) and think that doing good has become synonymous with financial gifting. Both are nice and both have a place, but ignoring one for the sake of the other is massively naive IMO. [Edited 5/11/15 15:17pm] Change it one more time..
