This sounds very promising and should be a fun night! Even if Prince doesn't play it would be nice if the girls jam'd on stage together. I may be wrong, but I don't believe the 3rd EyeGirls have done a perfomance together for the public without Prince.

Hopefully they will play it in the soundstage area this time. With them adding "jam session", expect there will be a lot of people there this time.

I'm sorry for the dumb question...but is "AN EVEN BIGGER NOISE" the name of a band? I'm trying to understand if this is similar to the previous PPAD where they are bringing in some local band to play, or if this is a strong suggestion that 3EG and/or Prince will actually perform...and I know...there are no guarantees, etc, etc, etc...

I aked myself the same question as soon as I read the tweet. But then I looked at the PPAD Facebook page, and their post just says, "special guests." My gut feeling is that P & 3EG will play, but I keep telling myself, "there are no guarantees." pray

My guess is 3eg plays some of their songs without prince and special guests will include joshua singing his song with the band. If prince was playing it would b more than $25. Maybe if its a big crowd he will b inspired to jam.

Maybe Andy Allo? She's announcing an online concert on Saturday afternoon - maybe she's doing that from Paisley, and then if she'd be there anyway she'd stick around that night? Where is she right now?

What a bummer!!!! I saved money for a very long time so I could go Chanhassen and see Paisley Park!!! (A once in a lifetime experience!!!!) I didn't even get 2 see the inside! There were events going on for a month before I got there and now right afterwards!! I am so sad!!! It seems that only people who live nearby or are fortunate enough to have a lot of money get to enjoy these experiences! sad

I must say that we are lucky to have Prince living in Minnesota. How many major artists still live in their hometown? Think about it, NOT MANY. He has not played a major arena show here since 2007, so it is nice to have the opportunity to go to Paisley Park, even if he decides not to play.

we've already heard half of the tracks or perhaps even more,

and they haven't exactly set my soul alight.

right now i'm more interested in his own solo album and much

more interested in the PR remaster.

this whole project came and went for me. and now i'm beyond

caring. it will be nice if it does show up but if they said 'hey, it

got cancelled' i wouldn't mind anymore.

if they pull the plug on this thing, the whole time table for the

other 2 releases gets to move forward.

yep, im sure warner bros are more interested in the solo album too. Maybe it its Prince that is holding out, wanting warners to release PE first. Or together.

If Prince backs up a Chevy Cobalt, opens the windows and trunk, and let's "PlectrumElectrum" rip, then I will absolutely have NAILED it.

This merch item needs to be the actual album...They say Kandace Springs is supposed to be either performing on her own or opening for Prince at the listening party.

If we could crowd source my hotel, I'd drive up there and deliver my usual kickass review. lol

In regards to the songs...what exactly would you want to know? I mean, we've told you they are guitar driven, Prince lead on some, Hannah on others. It wasn't like they played the songs over and over, all night long. Can one of you describe in detail PRETZELBODYLOGIC???
