its not ruled out completely. if i get some free accomodation and/or travel help and a free ticket it's do-able. but another 2 days off work cuz i'd need to travel back on the tuesday as i doubt i'd get back after the show on monday in time for work. the problem with not driving
What was the price of a standing ticket for each venue? |

Anyone have any idea if these tickets are re-sellable? Even for face-value?
I really wanted to do the Leeds show, but I'm busy on the 23rd, so I got 2 standing for Manchester on the Friday.. now they're adding more shows, I'm really hoping for a second Leeds show so I can get tickets for that instead.
If so, I'll have two standing tickets for Manchester on the Friday to sell for £65-ish each. I don't wanna do this and then find out we need ID for these tickets so I'm stuck with two tickets and a big bill I don't want.
did you get etickets or real tickets posted to you? you should be able to sell real tickets no problem. i doubt they will add another leeds as they are playing amsterdam on sunday so will need saturday to travel there |

£137 for a good seat?! No thanks. Fees are totally unjustifible too. This is why resent going to gigs at these kinda venues, it's extorion from the time you get tickets until you leave the building. [Edited 5/2/14 5:36am] "U have just given birth 2 a 7 pound Bambi..." SBE 9Feb14 |

Phewwwwww....
I got Birm both nights seated...(can't do early queue due to work), Leeds and both Manchester nights seated, but went for the £135 ones...expensive business all this...would like some Leeds standing I might put my Leeds seated ones up if I can get those...
Sly ones put the extra nights on afterwards...
...and relax...

Try eventim, they are adding tickets for leeds all the time. I hate these ticket sites, you just dont know what to do for the best, buy in a panic or wait and risk not getting a ticket, they are immoral. |

I agree, especially for 3rdEyeGirl. I could understand it if he was bringing the huge symbol stage and a full band with 11 piece horn section.. but for 4 people and a few lights/screens, that really is a lot of money. Even £65 is a lot for that.

He knows people will just turn up regardless of what he does and how much he charges...but many, including me, lived the real world where I can't justify spending £70 plus for a show of undetermined length where he'll boast "I've got So many hits..." Yet all he'll do is sit at a keyboard singing over a snippet of sampled loops of the 80s ones. Says it all to me that people felt strongly enough to boo at KOKO when he left the stage after 75 minutes. Hope everyone has a good time but I think it's going to be at least another year before I get the bug again. I'd happily pay £65 for a show at KOKO, Shep Bush, or Manc Apollo... small venue, great atmosphere. But for a large, vacuous arena? No way. "U have just given birth 2 a 7 pound Bambi..." SBE 9Feb14 |

the manchester gig i saw in february was the best i have ever seen..played for nearly 4 hours and he was brilliant...i guess you were just unlucky..i dont like the two shows a night thing he tries to do...impossible to really do them justice i think.. |

On the flipside of that, I think lots of causal touts on those resale sites will be panicking once they hear of more dates going on-sale... the tickets they already have are dropping in vaule as we speak. If I could get a ticket for £40-50 a few days before a show then I'm there!! "U have just given birth 2 a 7 pound Bambi..." SBE 9Feb14 |

Well, as of 13.40, you can still get a pair of tickets in Block 16 (Best block in Birmingham).
Has anyone managed to get seats in the first 20 rows of block 16 or 2? I have a feeling the plum seats went straight to the second market. As soon as they went on sale, the first offer was row W. . |

Completely agree. It's going to be lots of dates (3/4/5) or none. I can't see it being none when they know the demand is there.
I've just gone for the Leeds date for now, first weekend no use for me anyway. Once might be enough, quite sure the experience won't be the same as those Feb shows but I cannot say no to Prince! |

The extra dates will screw them. I've secured one ticket, and will go to others at a fraction of the cost off the touts.
I went to all 19 Nude shows which sold out, but only paid for a proper ticket on the first night. For the rest, I waited ouside the venue and approached the touts almost as the lights were going down inside and they were about to head home. I paid an average of £2 a ticket and on one occasion the tout gave me a Wembley block A ticket for free.
I did similar for Take That a Wembley. Mrs Squirrel wanted to go, so we went up on the night and as touts approached, I said we weren't interested and we were just waiting for our kids (lie) who were inside. As the first song started I joked with him I'd take a seat for a pound, just to rest our legs and we agreed £5 for a pair of tickets in the royal box with free food and drink.
Missed the first song, but it was Take That, so I didn't care. . |

Yes, hopefully at least 3/4 dates end of May or start of June. I remember Seatwave posting that he is playing two dates in Hyde Park, 'details to be announced soon' but that was 3 months ago so presume it was speculation. |
