When you book in someone that could fill it 100 times over, thats Prince's managements problem, not the venue. The venue won't double their security, they would make no money.

The problem is not the standard security inside the venue. They've done their job. They are not hired or paid to run security for 3000 in a line, nor provide tickets when their venue is pay on the door as standard.

All the requirements that fall outside of the standard package are down to P's managmennt. Press information, pricing, ticketing and abnormal effects to public highway.

Kiran is clearly not bothering to finish the job, simply booking the venue and leiting the venue manage fan information requirememts and abnormal security requirements.

That is terrible event management on her behalf. She is clueless, riding on P's coat tails.

Kiran must be working hard to make sure none of this negative feedback is getting back to Prince, because whatever "else" she's doing for him, I can't believe he would let this sort of thing slide...especially if he's opening himself up to lawsuits from people getting injured in unorganised queues. I don't agree with compensation culture, but its the age we live in, and if someone does get hurt, as Squirrel has pointed out, they will probably lay the blame with Prince's management...

i've been watching as this tour unfolds and noticing that fans are actually (voluntarily) suffering harm from standing in line for hours in the cold for the potential privilege of getting squeezed into teensy venues and being crushed by crowds of drunk folks. feeling sorry for you guys in London right now, even though the set lists totally rock.

Well, the simple way would be presale eticket. Could happen on the day. All the security issues gone in an instant. If the worry is touts, then make it ID specific.

To be fair to her, a lady was tweeting about not being about to get to queue because of her dissability, and Kiran arranged for her to go down just before the show priority entry with her carer, when she got in the venue there was already two people in the disabled seats (they only had 2) and they arranged for her to get a seat somewhere suitable. At the end of the day she could have pretended she hadnt saw the tweet because she was busy but did her best to sort it out. She might have her bad points but earnt a bit of respect from me with that. The idea of these shows arent to play to everyone, if they played to everyone there woudlnt be half as much attention on them, its a promotional tour, maybe with something bigger in the pipeline who knows? could be testing the waters before putting on bigger shows, rave reviews everywhere and people will want to see prince in all his glory with bigger shows.

What's happened now. Never known a set up like it. Maybe that's why in most pics I have seen from the shows Prince doesn't seem to look too happy.

I would like to know what the agenda is behind the visits to the UK as the PR stuff and organisation has been nothing short of amateur.

What is more suprising there has been no new album either or any release date for it.

Is this a suprise tour or is this a tour to sort out how much you can do with your current fanbase?
