To be fair, they didnt know about it until 2pm yesterday when they got a call to ask if they were free, they had to arrange all the staff and everything last min, the organisation is down to Prince's team, they know what demand would have been like they should have made sure it was dealt with.

They only had two security guys running the line when it was clear by 4pm it was double over subscribed. And when they did start letting people in, they were very slow.

Not to mention that low ticket price attracted a rush to the venue. Maybe after tonight, they'll consider having more security outside the line. They did that at City Winery in NYC when his NPG band played that week. Even though it was a ticketed event, they still had good security checking the line waiting outside.

Bloody lucky that someone wasn't trampled in that surge. Loads of total pricks cutting in at the intersection of Camden High Street with Buck Street, with the "queue" getting wider. Nothing being done about it. Why that surge was allowed to happen was senseless, and it was genuinely scary.

Prince, you were the shit as always, but sort it out for future gigs.

Absolutely agree. And don't get me started on that cowbell twat that could as well be selling t-shirts @ the merchandise stall or handing out wristbands to the girls he fancy. I wonder if the bottom line is to keep him busy while Prince and his wife "study the Bible" together, lol ...

i'm glad of the queue jumpers, becuz we got to see the 2nd show - which was off da hook! and longer than the first!!!! nice of prince to do a 2nd show for.

I have a friend who was in the queue for most of yesterday, then when the crowd surged at door opening time he was knocked to the floor and hurt his ankle. Despite queuing with the other fans for the best part of the day in the p*ssing rain he didn't get into the first show because of all the rude late comers that bowled up and shoved their way to the front. He now has an ankle that's twice its normal size and is contemplating a trip to the hospital for X-rays....

Its so sad to hear of people hurt by this thoughtless stampeed. The amount of people jumping in the Que was crazy. as i said i went from about 500th in the que to about 1500th probably. Wasted alot petrol, and parking costs along with freezing my bits off, all thanks to rude thoughtless people who felt it ok to ruin what could have been an amazing opportunity for many people. If i didnt have work so early today i would have stayed for the 2nd show but the so called rude security had no idea on how long the wait would be. my days of staying up till 6am to see Prince have long gone, sorry Prince. You need to remember your old fans and the ones who have stuck by you are now older and have families etc. maybe employ a manager who gets this and gets you are one of the biggest entertainers in history and gets you would fill a whole block with fans in a split second and alow for this. Good luck with the next Kieran Fiasco. who knows might be tickets!! Ok Rant over and lets hope for the rest of us we get to see him this tour
