NEW GIRL- After-show discussion/party So- What do you think?
I catch New Girl here and there. The show stayed true to itself. Prince was an added plus. It kept its slapsticky stuff, and its regular "sweet" moment they always write in.
Prince could be a regular on any sitcom, or even have his own show. But that's not what or who he is. It was nice to see a cool guest appearance though. I really can't think of any show currently on TV where he would have fit in better.
3 of 4 stars. slakk | |

Prince is very limited at acting but he had a few great moments here. Way better than I expected.

All I can say is that it was AMAZING!!
I Wish butterflies would follow me around like that My favorite parts: When he was whispering something to Jess (Ya'll know how people say he talks very quietly and whispers into others ears when he has something important to say) I felt like he was poking fun at that lil "rumor" Also when he locked Jess in a dark room and magically appeared with a lighter causing her to SCREAM. Then he goes on to say "stop being afraid!" Really? You just shoved her into a dark room, and slammed the door ONLY to pop up out of the mist holding a lighter goofy ass [Edited 2/2/14 20:28pm] From the vineyards of Lavaux back 2 the heart of Minnesota. the song kind of reminds me of RNR Love Affair. it's weird that it's not on sale anywhere tho. kinda hoped it would be on itunes or the 3rd eye girl site after the show. plus, it's not really a song that falls into the 3rd Eye Girl slot, is it? so is the NPG album still a 'go' as well (since "Big City" needs a home too)?

The plot seemed thrown together, but it had it had its funny moments. I liked the song a lot though. My favorite part was the ending with Prince and Cece.

Cute show.
Prince's acting chops are rusty to say the least.
The lighting didn't do him any favors. I've rarely seen him look older. Did he kick the makeup artist off the set or something?
They pretty much should be paying SNL for the script though.
Didn't they even borrow the pancakes bit with Beyonce blurting out "Prince wants pancakes" or something?
Seeing Prince actually do those bits was pretty mind blowing, and fun. It' a must watch.

you'd think it would be on iTunes where people could actually find it.

Ok people, let's focus. What was that song that he sang at the end? It sounded pretty decent, and I didn't recognize it. "Love & honesty, peace & harmony"

I don't think anyone knows yet, but it does sound like a fun, upbeat track. [Edited 2/2/14 21:33pm]

Don't You Wanna Fall In Love Tonight, maybe? (using Princebonics appropriately, of course lol)

That's is exactly right. Don't hate your neighbors. Hate the media that tells you to hate your neighbors.

well, the hook was "don't, don't you wanna, wanna fall in love tonight", so "Fall In Love 2nite" would be a good guess. I wonder if it was written specifically for the show, since it seemed to fit the theme.

will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

My daughter told me that the show was on (I forgot). I tuned in for a sec to see if I could catch his appearance, but got bored waiting, and changed the channel. Sorry, not even Prince could keep me interested enough to watch and wait to for him to appear. I guess with age, I've also lost my patience, or my love for Prince has dwindled, because once upon a time I would have followed this man to the ends of the earth, just to catch a glimpse of him.
