Actually BVH I have always been quite defensive of your opinion on here over the years. You do of course have every right to an opinion. AND if you read what I said I did not for one minute say anything about you being wrong.

MY POINT was that once again you pop up with your negativity. I just wonder why after all these years you even bother? You clearly have a lot of hate for Prince and I suspect it may even be for valid reasons BUT you are also clearly on a mission to ruin it for everyone else as well. It is like your hate for Prince also extends to those of us who still enjoy what he does (for the most part anyway).

I just wonder about your motivation and why you spend your time even bothering to be on here? I mean surely after all these years you should be over it and be focused on something more positive in your life?

i think bart is a big fan of prince..or certainly was a big fan at one time..but i think he feels he doesnt justify his huge talent and that annoys him..he obviously still has an interest in prince or he wouldnt be here..he is very negative but most of his views on things i do tend to think he has a point..if a bit overdone.

An "indie underground act" fronted by a superstar is not an indie underground act. If Madonna decided to start an "indie underground" band, it would still be Madonna's band. Just like this is Prince's band.

So an unknown indie band that sells 7 million records with a DIY recording. The record co makes them rerecord that recording so they are not "indie" anymore!!!? Indie is more of a style/sound/way of doing things than a popularity contest. If Prince wanted to write/record some commercial sounding pop songs in his sleep he could but you have Madonna. The difference is Madonna is lame and cant rock.
