That North Sea Jazz festival takes place in the caribbean... Aruba, I think. That being said, it is possible to sqeeze ina a whole week of concerts in London prior to to that so here's to hopeing!

Yep I can confirm this. It's not the end of the world though; being in a different country is not a big deal to Prince. However, I completely agree with TheEndlighGent about being bored. To build hype and excitment you've got to keep it in the front of people's minds, which I can assure you is not the case for the majority of his 150,000 followers on twitter who are no more than casual fans. A London gig with the right marketing and hype would be perfect after his current boost in audience and interest due to twitter. It would go something like this: 'Oh look, Prince has joined twitter, I didn't know he was still going. Oh look, he's talking about a performance in London, cool. Yep, he's announced the dates. I think that WAS the entire point about tweeting those pics ... to get everyone excited! Prince loves to tease us!

But I am also hoping that it was sort of a message to tell us "be prepared, something is happening in London soon" ... I just hope when it does it will be with enough notice so I can hop on a plane and get there! (in the sense that plane tickets are ridiculously more expensive when booked last minute)

I agree and it would be great but we know Prince does things HIS way and always different than what seems logical and expected. That's just how he is, even if often it does not make much sense to us.

I'm disappointed that they teased us with the photos, I'm disappointed that they kept us guessing, I'm disappointed that there's no London concert(s)
