One word: epic. Pretty much the same set list as the last City Winery show (I'm still in disbelief about that one) but with 6 or 7 encores. Seriously, I stopped counting.

Encores focused on hits from PR but somewhat surprisingly included a few from SOTT (very similar to the west coast shows in May).

Set list is somewhat accurate up until the 17th or 18th encore . Then it kinda goes off the rails...

I would love to hear that horn section tackle one of Fela Kuti's songs. There are enough horn players in that band to take up the challenge. I would love to hear them play an instrumental version of 'Zombie' by Fela or an instrumental version of any one of Fela's popular songs. Wonder if they can handle that? Remains to be seen.

Right now I cannot imagine to ever return there although I miss my friends there and even though I felt very much at home there and the thought of never returning is heart-breaking. But you never know what life will bring, so maybe one day I will return, for whatever reasons.

The concert was GREAT! I live on Curacao and ofcourse I was there. Prince was set to play one hour and he performed 2,5 hours and gave six encores, it was crazy! He even came back twice after the organization said the night was over and the lights were on, nobody wanted to leave. I remember that the last time Prince came back he was just lauging and shouting: seriously?? You want more?? The crowd went crazy ofcourse. Prince was in such a good mood and the NPG en 3rdeyegirl had no trouble keeping up. I love the show with 3rdeyegirl cause you get see Prince playing his guitar a lot, simply great. All the media on Curacao were talking about the concert for over a week. I hope he comes back next year )

btw, Curacao is an island that was an old colony of The Netherlands, and now it's still part ofthe Dutch Kingdom, but with their own goverment etc. Curacao is the bigger island next to the island Aruba, (you all know that island I guess) Aruba is also part of the Dutch Kingdom and it's a 15 minute flight to Curacao.

Jeez, is this the latest news that we have on Prince? It's almost October, and this thing is still up from August? WTH?
