I was in Stockholm just last sunday. Wish I could be there this weekend too. Where exactly on Skeppsholmen is it? A concert should be awesome there. Do you have some pics of the area?

Here's a picture of Skeppsholmen:

The island is in the middle of Stockholm and the concert area is on the left hand side. It's a beautiful venue for sure! The capacity is around 10.000.

^^Yes, I know where Skeppsholmen is. That's why I said a concert should be great there. I'm just not quite sure where on Skeppsholmen it should be. So, if it's on the left, it's basically on the lot from where you can see the Vasa museum, right there in front of the ships!?

Geez. Why does everyone act like I don't know my way around. If you stand on that yellowed square (which is were I suspected the festival to take place, so thanks for confirming) you can see to the other island and see the Vasa museum on the other island (you could even see it on the second picture, if it wouldn't get dark... you do see though the building which is right next to Vasa museum... the nordic museum). It's in the right upper corner of the Google Maps picture.

And yes, it is a great venue. Any concert venue where you're close to the sea is great. Thanks for posting that second pic.

I see what you meant now, sorry, read too quickly. Yeah, the museum is across the water behind the stage. Didn't mean to be Mr. Besserwisser, just wanted to avoid confusion. But clearly I'm the one confused.

I'll be missing the show, sadly. But I'm sure it's gonna kick ass. The weather is awesome also at the moment I hear.

The official afterparty will be at Debaser (Slussen).

Please note that this is organized by the festival - Prince hasn't made any promises on appearing. But Debaser is a great place for live music too with stage and sound setup - just sayin'.
