Dates are August 21-25. Princes are high, for what it is: $75-$100 all nights except for Sunday, which is $200-$350(!) Damn ... this is why I haven't seen Prince in concert since 2004. I am a few hours from NYC, but this is over my budget and with little chance of seeing him play. I will be going to a FREE concert on Wednesday, Aug 7 in NYC with Bilal and Vivian Green, though. Recommend for anyone near the city:

Negativity is reading the likes of Bart going on and on once again about how P is playing the same 'ol playlist (when he really isn't)...

This ^^^^is is all negatvity....I'm rolling with Prince when it comes to such phony, Troll complaints....

But....

Making a reasonable observation that it's side-eye worthy that one of the greatest live performers of all time is pulling a bait and switch at such high ticket prices for some back-up singers? That's not being negative...That's being an objective, clear headed fan...

As someone who lives in New York, I don't mind seeing Shelby or Liv......ONSTAGE WITH PRINCE....lol....I have no issue with them....

But paying that much just to see them perform without knowing if P is even going to show up? Nah...That's some bullshit...lol

The thing is why do it in the first place? Why play chicken with the fans? If it's a Shelby/Liv gig, then keep it 100....There's no need for Prince photos or the whole "Prince may be in the house" hyping...

Charge the $75 to $300 plus for the tickets and deal with the empty house that will def. happen without Prince...

Again, I'm rolling with Prince when it comes to the usual TROLLS on this site...But questioning this weird tactic is simply being objective....

But I have a feeling when they struggle with ticket sales Prince will suddenly be front and center on the bill....

I'm keeping my fingers crossed....

Would seem quite logical that Prince will be in town for the week in that case. Pop in for a show or two.
