Wow. That first show set list is KILLER!
Second show was incredible. Just as good as SF shows. I still can't believe that I got to hear some songs that I've never seen live b4 What a night! here is set as best as I can remember lGC Then extended delay due to what looked like amp issues Endorphin machine Screw driver She's always in my hair A case of U. Yes, that's right!! The Ride- smoking hot! ICNTTPOYM How come u don't call me !!!! Adore Crimson clover / I'll take u there So far so pleased!!!!! Encore The max!!!!! Sampler Doves cry 2 versus n choruses. The second show was even more amazing than the first!!! I stayed off the org and facebook, so the whole night was a surprise to me! I was digging the full blown version of Adore in the 2nd show!!!

I saw him sing it in 1995 during the UK Ultimate Live Experience tour, & he could melt ur heart with his voice singing A Case of U. Hope those that heard it last night really cherished it! | |

Wow! Talk about dedication. I'm not going to wait in line that long: if I did, I would probably pass out from exhaustion before the end of the night. Do you know if people who attended both shows last night got wristbands to go to the front of the line for the second show? That might be my only chance of getting a good view. I was at the early show and heard grumblings as people were leaving the venue. Too short. Not enough hits. He played cover songs. Etc. There's no pleasing everyone and this tour is definitely not for the casual fan. For this lifelong Prince fan, this was the show I have always wanted to see. I've heard the hits hundreds of times. I didn't mind not hearing them again. He played a few songs last night that I have never gotten to see live and I loved every minute of it. Was the show too short for what we paid? Yes…kind of. (How long of a show really makes $250 worth it? hard to say.) But I wasn't paying to see a long show. I was paying to see a great performer in an intimate setting. For me, being three feet away from the man and watching him perform some of my favorite songs was worth every penny. Even though the show was short, I was on sensory overload for the entire time, so I felt feeling very satisfied. It was literally a full frontal assault to my ears and eyes from the moment the bass drum kicked in behind the curtain. I'll be at the late show tonight and can hardly wait. As for the covers go, he only played a couple of songs that weren't his own. He does that almost every time I see him live, so it was no surprise and I always enjoy the fresh spin he puts on those songs. The rest of the songs were all his. The band was tight and the funk/rock was delivered with precision and power. Loved it! | |
