Hi, heard a rumour that Prince is going to headline the second night of Tennent's Vital in Belfast on 15 August 13. Official announcement due in May.

Hope it's true - but MCD are the promoters.... maybe the gig was part of the settlement! They uploaded the Purple Rain vid to the site....

I'm based in Belfast with very good promoter contacts but haven't heard anything. Really hope it is true but where did you hear the rumour from?

heard it through promoter's circles. Second headliner has been called a world-class and they are waiting for May to make a big announcement. Fits in with his known schedule, but conjecture right now. He's never played NI, as you know!

Local myself, done the whole London aftershow thing...but this would be something else.

Really hope it comes off...would be the big show of the year, possibly the best big show Belfast would see in a long, long time....

I'd sail over in a heartbeat if that were true as I have loads of relatives in Ulster!
