no. i want to experience the real cold weather (snow in november??? i'm totally in!) and the not so hot summers (a DJ that works in a local station there says that the temperature over 85 degrees is hot...um no...try living in the desert where it gets up to 100 degrees in the summer...now that's HOT).

also since i'm a supporting member of that local station and well i live in texas so i don't really get to experience the perks of getting tickets to some local shows before they go on sale to the general public, etc.

there's also a college in st. paul that i've had my eye on for a while now (mcnally smith college of music) where i hope to get in and get my degree in music production.

Uhhhh...Minneapolis gets very hot in the summer. And with the humidity? whew

oh...well i don't live in a place where it's humid (san antonio comes to mind) so i guess i must've forgotten that detail. where i live it's dry heat.

Love God. Love Music. Love Life.

(Unconfirmed but person stated ticket prices...)

Wednesday night is $70, Thursday night is $100, Friday is $250

Apparently, Prince has been talking with fans regarding ticket prices...

Who's he been talking with, comedians??!!!

God damn it.

I saw the news about this at 7am. I had to be at work until 2 and I was super excited to come home and hopefully be able to buy tickets at 5pm. Now I see that THEY'RE ALREADY SOLD OUT. I would have planned to have someone help me out if I had known they would be gone at 12pm. I am really really upset.

If any of you has a ticket they want to sell for Thursday or Friday please, please let me know. I am really sad about this and I hope I can make it to at least one of these performances. I'd rather buy from one of you fine folks than some of the price gougers on craigslist...

This is so true, I feel your pain. I was at work & found out about the Troubador LA shows at 1pm wed afternoon the same day as the shows. I live north of SF but I bought a ticket to the late show anyway, hopped in my car & got there 2 hours before the gig started. One of the best shows of my lifetime but the short notice did piss off my wife. Luckily she knows what a P freak I 'am. You know what? I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Small venue gigs are off the charts.

I wish Prince would have waited and held these shows at Paisley Park instead. There's more space there, and also ticket prices wouldn't have had to be so high (or maybe they still would've anyway, we are talking about Prince here lol )
