I agree! I also thought about a "Welcome 2 Texas" Residency. Houston, DFW, Austin, San Antonio, and maybe some place toward the West would be cool.

I had the same idea. There are cheap flights from Dallas to all of those other cities, and those who don't want to fly can drive. Same for New Orleans. He did something similar in North Carolina and I'll bet he has even more fans in Texas.

Only one show announced so far. September 24th.

Side note: that empty first week of October on the United Center calendar is making me very happy. There's a good chance of a Wednesday or Thursday show considering the time frame. Road trip!!! cool

I'm going 9/24 for sure. But Chicago is close enough that I could easily drive down for another show - and drive back the same night (so no need for a hotel). All I'd need to do is leave work early one day and go in late the next. Piece o' cake.

Frankly, biggest challenge will be finding someone to go with me. Sweetie'll go to one show - but I don't think I can get him to more than that.

Anybody can get into the page right now. The "code" is the first 6 digits of your Citi credit card.

I'm not 100% thrilled with my seats, but seeing as how I encountered some sort of problem with Ticketmaster where it completely blocked my server (WTF?!) and I had to complete the order process on my iPhone (lemme tell you what a pain THAT was), I'll cope.

that was the price in NYC/NJ when this tour started. The Purple Circle VIP is actually $1500 because they only sold it in pairs. I did the $500 VIP and had a blast. I wound up sitting next to Sherri Shephard from the View and in front of Naomi Campbell.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Never been to a Prince concert before, and have no idea when another opportunity like this will come up. There is no way I can make the weekday shows, with classes. I could do a Friday and Saturday though. I need to find transportation from Milwaukee though, if anyone wants to buddy-up/carpool. Orgnote a brotha.

Please Prince announce what other shows U R gonna do so we can all make plans. Lots of us have jobs/Mortgages kids etc we have to work around and try and figure out how we are gonna swing these rather "pricy" tickets..
