so, 2nd night has been 'pulled' (maybe until the first night is sold out)

this is kind of what happened to me in '03...

I booked and got tickets for the first day concert...and flew home the next day.....only to find out just before I boarded my plane back to NZ, that he was doing a second show....I couldn't change my flight and had to go...and missed the Basement Aftershow....hence why I'm giving myself an extra day in each city this time- just in case!!!

Due to $$$ I may not go to any shows in Sydney (unless I can't get tix for Melbourne)

- But I'm planning on being in Sydney both days in case he does an aftershow there...

(all I need is for the bank to approve my loan...find out on Tuesday!! the day after tckets go on sale...so if I don't get approval - there may be some tickets available from me LOL)

Does anyone see other venues as potential aftershow spots'? Or r we betting on the Basement?

was curious 2 c what is left 4 this show on ticketek.com.au,if its just single seats.....
there is a pair of Purple Reserve in Sect' Purple 9, great seats.

yeah last night the VIP package promoters dumped most of their unsold tickets back into the ticketek system

there are still some purple reserve $350 tix available as of right now

The Basement would be a cool spot again.

Sydney nightlife is a damn disappointment.

Sydney nightlife is a damn disappointment.

The Basement would be fantastic, but I'm not sure if there will be any aftershows at all in Sydney. The Allphones Arena is so far away from the CBD. Maybe some warm up concert on Thursday instead?

Traffic at that time won't be an issue so what's it to Prince to get in a limo and be in town by 1am. As for the fans there will be more than enough who can make it in time to fill a relatively small venue.

I agree. It's no big deal to get down to Circular Quay after the concert. I'm sure he won't just go straight to his hotel after the show;-)

I don't think the distance is an issue. The aftershow in Brisbane in '03 was a fair way away from the concert venue. Everyone just jumped into cars and cabs after the gig and got their butts where they needed to be.

Just checked Ticketek and could have got two Purple Res in block 1 row 5.

Sucks that peeps who bought early got shafted and now you can get seats like that.
