I will be flying into Vancouver on the 16th and out on the 17th so I will only be there for 24 hours. Any locals on here that could suggest a really nice hotel fairly close to concert??

There are many hotels fairly close to the venue. Rogers Arena is in downtown Vancouver so you have a large selection, and downtown Vancouver is small and very walkable.

What do you mean by really nice? Are you specifically looking for an expensive hotel, or do you want something affordable that's still nice? If you're looking for high end, there are two Fairmonts, L'Hermitage, St. Regis, The Opus, etc. I've never stayed at any of these hotels because I can't afford them but I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of them. Check TripAdvisor. You can search for hotels specifically near the venue, which is located at 800 Griffiths Way.
