Uhm... aren't any tickets left at Ticketmaster site?

http://www.ticketmaster.c...homeA_4_f1

You are right...there are quite alot of good seats left..but i dont want to pay $270- eek

actually i would pay that...lol..but my GF is on a budget, maybe i can talk her into nose bleed section? confused

the VIP tickets sound awsome...anybody going that route? cha-ching!~~ omg

I pushed the boat out & got a table for the 26th. Im taking my kids & feel safer with teh space they bring. I'm now i NEED a ticket for the 25th, nose bleed is all $ I have left sad

The thing with Prince, no matter where you sit, it will be amazing.

I have an idea for you though.... treat your girlfriend? surprise her? Leave her at home? I'm leaving my entire family at home on the 25th. The way i see it, Prince was here first.

Quite sure Prince cancelled his last Saskatoon date in 2001 or so, I saw him in Regina, but with no Regina date set, maybe ticket sales will be better. I will go to Winnipeg, won't hold my breath for an aftershow like he did last time he was in the Peg (LeRendezvous). Has he been doing any aftershows on Welcome to... tour?

I would also like to know the answer to this question. I think that in general he has cut way back on the aftershows in recent years but that is just a guess.

Hi !

I don't think he did any after shows here in Los Angeles.

Too bad he cancelled Saskatoon; I was really looking forward to seeing him again.

Sorry, Vancouver orgers. I was looking forward to meeting you, but after hearing about the Tacoma show, I am opting for that one instead. sad Good news is that my ticket's for sale in the marketplace, below face value, if anyone's interested. I do love Vancouver, but Tacoma is just a few miles from where I live, so I'll be saving money on gas, hotel and whatnot. Enjoy the show! I can't wait to hear all about it. biggrin

Just booked my bed at the Youth Hostel in Halifax!! (Yeah I'm going cheap on location, don't need an hotel room, just a place to sleep after the show.. and I LOVE Youth Hostels!)

This is sooo exciting! I was suppose to arrive in Halifax an hour and a half before the show (with the bus from Quebec *18 hours of bus!*) but it's just too short.. in case something happens with the bus or whatever... So I'll arrive on the 29th and be able to do a little tourism there before the show! smile

I think it's adorable that just on the corner of the Metro Center street, there's a street called ''Prince St'' cool I have to take a picture of that (Yeahhh 'm THAT crazy! LOL)

Aaaahh I'm excited!!! dancing jig

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''

Hey fellow Prince fans, I have a question about the songs Prince will be singing on this Canadian tour, specifically his Edmonton date. A friend of mine said Prince won't be playing any of his older songs and will instead be playing stuff from 2000 and on. But I searched what his set lists were for recent concerts and it doesn't seem like that. I also haven't read anything about prince refusing to play his older stuff. So basically, my question is what kind of songs will he be performing?

check out his set list from 'W2A". He played it all & made sure we loved every second of it. So much so, I followed up with 3 more shows, a year later, i couldn't resist, flights booked & 2 more shows in Toronto. You are in for the time of your life, whatever he plays x

Thank you prince x For a life time of joy & pleasure x

Ugh.

So, instead of buying great seats the moment they went on sale, I trusted my friend's 'connection' at Ticketmaster to get us even better seats. Finally got them today, and they are: Section 118, Row 14 ($268 x 4). Here's the map:

So, anyone who's seen the Welcome 2 America shows, go on and break my heart: how shitty are these seats?

Prince spends the most of the show center stage (at base of circle) facing toward the arrow, he also spends a great time on the horn (where you will see his face more), other time on the curly part. But there are big tv screens and he occasionally goes around the circle/and front arrow part.

I would say they are ok seats (if the seats are close to the 119 section).

This is probably a dumb question but generally when is the best time to pick up some merchandise? I usually do not bother but, darn it, Prince needs my money! I don't want to have to look after a bunch of stuff during the concert but I imagine that after the show there will be very long lines. Are there any tips you veteran concertgoers can give me or am I just going to have to suck it up and suffer through masses of people in order to secure my swag?

I'd say before the show, the lines after are insane. I'd buy early & wear it during the show! At least you stand a chance of getting what you want. I missed out on the Tee i wanted last year, at 3 shows. I'll be holding that tee by 730pm on the 25th. I'm not leaving without it.

Have a great time x

I totally agree. I always hit the merch table before any concert I attend. If you go after the show then most likely all the good stuff will be gone.

Have cash handy. Some merchants also accept debit cards.

I was wondering if any purple peeps from Montreal had any recommendations on restaurants, places to stay, etc. Three of us are traveling from the US (Maine) to catch yet another mind blowing show. We have wanted to go to Montreal for quite some time as we've always heard great things about the city. It took Prince to give us that extra motivation. wink I've been to Quebec City a few times, and I love it there. It's a beautiful place. That would be great if Prince would play there. A shorter drive for us. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! . . . Have a wonderful time at the show! Prince & NPG are amazing!

P.S. Prince, We love Maceo, Candy, and Mike P. If you would invite them to play with you, we'll pay for their hotel rooms!

I can't help for hotels since I'm from Quebec city (thanks for your compliment on my city, it IS beautiful! <3 and I totally agree about the fact it'd be great if Prince played here! wink

But for the restaurant, would be glad if you wanted to join us. Couple of fans (about 10 at the moment) will come at the Arlequino restaurant in Montreal, the restaurant is just 5 mins walking from the Bell Center.Made a little event page on Facebook for it (it's also on the Fans gathering section)

I am coming up from Chicago to the London show. I got my tickets in the mail today, not your typical looking ticketmaster tickets and I can't remember what the tickets looked like when I went to see the White Stripes in London. Can anyone post a photo of their tickets so I can see they are like mine and feel better about buying off stubhub?
