Prince show in London last night in Asda car park in Hackney

It was amazing. He played for 3 hours - solo, ukelele. Did loads of unreleased songs such as "Melon Wind", "U R A Vegetable" and "Felchadelic". Jealous?

His version of R U a Vegtable was AMAZING!! He took the Ukelele and did an amazing solo and then finished it off by slamming it on the floor and setting it on fire like Hendrix used to do. Then he did a split for the first time in I dont know how long!! Unfortunately after the split he tore his groin and the ambulamps had to come and take him away. I heard him scream "fuck!!" really loud upon hurting himself and this brought out the Larry police. Larry was not pleased and Prince is now under a strict disobedience program to correct his evil ways. WHAT A SHOW though!!

Yeah, just downloaded it - FBG have really excelled themselves with this "PRINCE OF ASDA PARK" release! However, I have also bought the Eye Records pressed CD version which features 5 extra minutes of 3 people putting their money in the parking meter.

the eye records release is just a rip off of the FBG release and called "Asda Prince", but they did include a remastered version of hey hannigan on the end of disc 2

It's worth it just for the remastered "Hey Hannigan." I've been jonesing for a clear version of this song for years! It's like I'm Hannigan, and he's singing right to me!!

OMG I can't believe I missed it.

Which version of R U a Vegatble did he play?

He hasn't done that for years. Thought he said he was never going to play it again!!??

Can't believe I didn't know about this gig, though I'm not too sure what the sound quality would be like in a Asda carpark.

Did it sell out?

Lol, can't believe I missed it.

PS Do you think a tour of Asda carparks might be on the cards? Here's hoping I guess...

Shut up already, damn.

Heard a rumour that he played Motorhomes Get Lonely Too (special Camper van remix)...

Maybe he's gonna do 21 nights at Asda.

That would be amazing!
