I'm still hoping for a COPENHAGEN visit during it's jazz festival July 1-10! One of the most historic cities in European jazz history!

I was planning on going there anyway on friday, Esperanza, Janelle Monae, Larry G. But now also Prince !!!! will be a fantastic night!

I see now the venue is called Ahoy (capacity about 15.000)!?

And apparently there is 1 concert on the 9th, and 2 concerts on the 10th!?

Cooooooool. Hopefully it's possible on friday to get tickets for prince only and isn't it sold out than by day tickets.

Day ticket holders also have to buy a ticket for a so called "plus concert", it's 40 euro extra if you have a day ticket and 89 euro if you only want to see Prince.

So it's not in the whole Ahoy with 15.000 people, it's in Maas: a part of Ahoy with a small capacity so it seems.

Just curious: Why are your parents the best (btw, Mother's Day was yesterday )!?

Also note that on live nation, the tickets for plus concerts will be sold one day in advance, May 12. So people who already have a ticket for the other artists will have a priority.

Because I'm 16, and they let me go to all 3 nights!

My mom got something from yesterday, haha

They are also going , saturdaynight. Other 2 nights I'm going with my uncle., I think. Well I think he is going one night with me, that's for sure.

If there is one night that I need to go alone, I will do that. Because Prince fans are very nice, so I will never really feel ''alone''

Ahoy' is the complete complex.

Sportpaleis or 'Maas' during Nort Sea Jazz is part of the complex and normally used for concerts and therefore in general referred to as Ahoy'. the capacity of Maas is 15818.

Considering that guest appearances are not unlikely (Chaka Khan, Larry Graham, Bootsy Collins, Mavis Staples, Candy Dulfer, Janelle Monáe, Esperanza Spalding, Selah Sue & Raphael Saadiq are also on the North Sea Jazz line up) it might be wise to buy a 3 day ticket for the festival plus 3 additional Prince tickets, total: € 329 (ex administration costs). If you buy 3 seperate Prince tickets you pay € 267 and are not allowed in the other concerts before the Prince concerts.

Great news, I've got festival tickets for Friday already and I'll definately buy the plus concert too

I guess I'll have to skip Larry Graham then, though. Does anyone know when the Maas opens? I don't want to be in a spot where I can't see a thing.

But how did you figure out the price of the 'plus' tickets? I can't find any information on it anywhere...
