"Scrapple"? Really?!
scraps of pork or other meat stewed with cornmeal and shaped into loaves for slicing and frying, esp. characteristic of eastern Pennsylavania. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Where did you hear it? | |

A Charlie Parker jazz standard?? Does that mean he will have some brass? I don't recall hearing about a trumpet at any of his US shows, just sax.
All the other songs are his norm set from W2A.
Y'all have fun tonight!

I think Prince has been doing this as an interpolation with Pop Life during the W2A shows. No trumpet.

He actually needs to rehearse these songs? Doesn't he have them down by now?

yes, I was thinking the same thing, how long has he been playing DMSR? What like 27 yrs or so??? Heck he shouldnt even have 2 think b4 playing that lovable jam. But im guessing its for the band, & to possibly check the sound, to make sure everything is in sync, he was having a bit of trouble with that during the french canal tv peformance "How Can I Stand To..Stay Where I Am? Poor Butterfly Who..Dont Understand." P

thats cold, but I cant disagree
Although P want change it, he will just add to it. But Im not sure how much, he can change the setlist. He's gotta please like a thousand people a night. He's playing 70's, 80's, 90's, and todays songs. Just the same D*mn ones in the same D*mn order, what 5 other songs could he slide in hmm....
400 songs rehearsed and we only hear the same 20 songs "How Can I Stand To..Stay Where I Am? Poor Butterfly Who..Dont Understand." P
